Every day that goes on, I love being here more.
And BTW, I'll have to hire some assistant to make me the regular "I'm proud of ya all" speeches, cause my creativity at that activity is almost empty. And that is cause I've had to make this kind of speech TOO MANY TIMES. Cause we succeed. And yes, once again, WE RULE.

Squadron News
-----------------------

-Kappa Squadron has qualified for the quarter finals of the Sovereign Squadron League 2000 playoffs, along with Rho Squadron. Both squadrons join the already prequalified Sigma Squadron. Congratulations to them, it's good to be on this along with those two fine Wing II squads.

Kappa was the only squadron to qualify with 100% participation. Once again, the facts just leave me speechless. This is a MAJOR achievement. And this was made with efforts from us all. The qualification for the previous round was already a great thing. I want to acknowledge you all, Kappans on the squadron, on other squadrons or on the reserves. This was pulled out for our participation through all the League.

-Kappa has a new banner!! LC Badlands has made the final version combining the best features from both preliminar banners. It rocks! LC Badlands has been awarded an ISM for his great work, and is now added to the "List of Kappa Friends" which I've just created :p.
The roster complete update is inminent.

-Kappa's Webmaster Algaron has updated the page!! Refreshed the looks a bit, fixed stuff, and added his own personal style to everything. It also rocks!! Check it out at http://kappa.squadron.org

-On a second update, Algaron uploaded the new Uniforms and Flightsuits provided by yours truly. Yay! We were getting used to the sight of the Naked Razor...dude, you can get dressed once and for all :p
Check my post on the Kappa Hatch and upload the resized version to the database. Or ask ol' Roasty to give you a resized version...and suffer the consecuences :p j/k

-The Border Wars round 3 and the whole comp has ended! And the winner is...ME! :p Yes, yes, but take it easy on the Kappa Hug, lately it's becoming the Anaconda Hug :p

-CPT Stele Pelleaon has taken an emergency leave, therefore the Operation 'RTT' is on hold until his return.

-We're soon to engage a squadron commanded by a former Wing IIer, in a flying comp but with a particular feature. Stay tuned for more! Or bribe your CMDR for more details :p

-There's the idea of making a squadron IRC meeting. I like it. And if it works, we could make it regular. Let's try and agree on time and day. If anyone wants to coordinate this activity, I'm now offering the position of Kappa's IRC coordinator. Mail me if any of you want to do the job, and as a plus you get to enhance your ID line with a fancy title :p

-Star Wars Myth II

Recently the Star Wars modifications for the
multiplayer game Myth II Soulblighter were tested
in a session hosted by LT Akira Vorsahyer. The
Forest Moon and Tattooine modifications were
tested. Screenshots can be seen at

Myth II is a multiplatform game with Windows,
Macintosh and Linux versions.

-Lucasarts has cancelled his PC version of Star Wars: Obi Wan, the 1st person shooter that was making gameplayers drool in expectation. This all cause an internal problem of one of the staff leaving.
