-From LCM Jan Wemmel, about Hawkins's departure:

*21 pilots come into the room wearing their best uniforms, form a row
and stand there*

AAAAAATENTION!

shooow BSKs!
fiiiill them with the best of Wing IIs alcohol!
Drrrrrriiink till you drop to the floor!

*about 3 drinks later 21 BAMMs sound trough the ship as 21 pilots drop
to the floor*

Have a nice life as civillian, Commander Hawkins. and remember: now you
can be imprisoned for killing someone. :P

-From LC Ace Pilot, the Supreme Squadron Series comp description:

"For those of you who were here in the beginning of the month you
already have an idea of what is about to happen. I present to you all
the beginning of the Sumpreme Squadron Series, a quest to find the best
squadron in the TIE Corps and to find an escort squadron for AD Sarriss.
The first section will start now and is the fiction portion. Each
squadron will have as many pilots as possible submit pieces of fiction
that must be at least 200 words long.
There is no theme and the stories may be as long as you wish. The
squadron commander in each squad must chose the best piece of fiction
and send it to his Wing Commander along with how many pilots in his
squad participated out of the total amount of pilots. The Wing
Commander will then report for his whole wing and send me the best
submissions from each squad. The report should look something like
this:

A Squad - 3/6
B Squad - 4/7
C Squad - 2/3 (note, only 2 were able to write due
to one pilot having comp.
problems)
D Squad - 5/7

Well, you get the idea. Squads will get points based on percentage of
participation and for the quality of the best submissions. You can get
a total of 10 points in both catagories combined if 100% of the squad
submits a piece of fiction and the fiction gets rated a 5 by our judges.
If the squad has only 4 pilots or below then each submission counts as
one point towards participation. If you need anymore clarification on
this please ask.
WC reports are due to me with the best peices of fiction from each squad
on September 30th, midnight (EST).

All reports after that will not be accepted. Please foward all of this
information to your squadrons so we may start the fun! Good luck
everyone and if you have any questions please ask!

From me: If you've got some fiction done or halfway done, polish it up and submit it!

-HA Kawolski retired and was promoted to the rank of Sector Admiral. (don't start asking he will stick around as Fleet System Engineer)

-SureFire, the #TIECorps bot is back from the limbo! He dissapeared for some time and was replaced by a mindless clone who just stood there being not fun. But he's back! rejoy on his supreme annoyance! :p

-MAJ Inkwolf is on leave for a week where she'll relax and enjoy some peaceful Ewok massacre. Till then, we're on the experienced (sigh) hands of Psi's CMDR MAJ Ford Prefect. Remember guys! don't go out of your bunk at midnight! This guy is insane, and now he has even more power! (or if you go out at night, bring yourself some Scotch or a dirty magazine, that'll do) What!...no no, sir, I mean MAJ...Acting WC...no, stop...AAAGHH!! HELP!!!!

-VA Jarak is the new BGCOM. Congrats to him!

-CT Razor is interested in joining. He just bought Tie Fighter, so he's playing like mad! C'mon squad, let's make a meditating circle and pass him some energy (too much oriental philosophy for Astarosta this week) Anyway Razor, I'll CC you on our WSRs.

-LT Ninja, former Kappan has been promoted to FL on Trapper. Congrats, dude! And this means free beer for us, cause he invited us to the party YEEAH. He asked to be CCed on our WSRs. Of course, dude!

-I'm changing the squad motto and nick. I'm taking the nick that Jan suggested: "The Spirits of Wing II" with the obvious reference to our love for ethilic substances.
For the motto I'm taking an old one from this squad created by Wlodek, suggested by Reb Crush: "If it Flies, It Dies" cause it's cool.
As for the flight nicks and mottos... the two flight leaders will decide. Come up with a cool one and tell me your decision. Jan you can talk with Reb for help. Deacs, you can talk with yourself :p I'll change Flight I's.

-The previous leads to a new task...we need to change our banner subsequently to the new nick. Anyone who wants to make a new one, go ahead. I'll try to do something with my little graphic skills. Then we'll choose the better one.
