- Obviously, the big news is that Colonel Sasquatch, CMDR of Psi since it's re-opening, has left the squadron to take the Wing Commander position of Wing III abord Mother Sov. As if he hasn't heard it enough, good luck, Sas! We'll miss you.
- Still other big news: Da Frod Regime has taken another step forward! That's right, you unwary fools, Ford has been promoted to CMDR! Just the first step...

Um, anyway, the 's' word, Ford hopes that he can at least come to par with what Sas has done with this squad, which will be quite a feat. If he can do that, then Ford will be pleased with his performance, and, uh, hopefully you guys will to and not try and mutiny :P
- With the promotion of Ford to CMDR, this has left the spot of Two Flight FL open. After much consideration, thinking, babbling to anyone who'd listen on IRC, and general tearing-out-of-hair, Ford has decided upon the new Chick Magnet FL. Congratulations on your new job, LCM Sidian! With this job comes the special rights and privileges only granted to the ultra-chick magnet Two Flight FLs :P However, Ford would advise everyone not get too envious of Sid, as Ford has need of a Cabana Boy to fetch himself and the other CMDRs drinks while we discuss important CMDR-ly things :P
- We have a new pilot! Sub-Lieutenant Arkady Grigorovich Ourumov (An ISM to the soul who can say that three times fast :P) completed his Daedlus training requirements on Thursday and was assigned to Psi, wasting no time in completing his INPR and completing SM/2, rounding off his week by being promoted to Lieutenant. Not too bad of a start! :P

- Fly Combat Run 9! The deadline for this CR is May 30th, and, since assuming command on Tuesday, Ford knows of three submissions. The free-mission is 'The Courtship of Callista', Free-TIE 106. It's not too hard, and should only take about 10 minutes to fly. So, go for it!
- Psi Squadron Trivia, May Edition has been released! All submissions are due in to Ford by May 31st.
- The Wing II Banner Competition is still going on...Wing II is in need of a link-sized banner and an 'any-sized' banner. So, if you have some free time and the slightest amount of graphics ability, submit something to General Gallows (with Ford CCed in, of course) by June 6th (?) Winners in each category will receive a Palpatine Crescent, and runner-ups will be awarded ISMs.
- The Ace Award! With only a few days left, there's still a few candidates eligible for the May Ace! In case anyone forgot, here are the requirements:
1) Combat Run 8 (Concluded)
2) Combat Run 9 (Due May 30th)
3) Wing II-Wing X Competition (Due June 4th)
4) Psi Squadron Trivia (Due May 31st)
Remember, the Ace of Psi receives a Palpatine Crescent and all the bragging rights that go with the title.
- The Top Gun Award! For those who have hazy memories, the Top Gun is awarded every month to the personage in Psi who flies the most missions that month. Thus far, it seems as if it's another duel between Sidian and Nemesis, but anyone who submits a load of BSFs could make a strong challenge! The winner of the Top Gun receives an ISM.

- CM Mordred Pendragon has contacted Ford with news from Vlade! Apparently, he's still having trouble getting on-line (he's getting hooked up with DSL), so he may not be back for another week...
Misc. News:
- Well, they go in pairs! Lieutenant-Colonel Freelancer, commander of Rho Squadron, has accepted the position of Naval Corps Commander! Congratulations to Vice Admiral Freelancer on the job! Be sure to stop by if you ever miss the feeling of a good ol' scorpion sting ;P
- Imperial Storm ended this week, with the pansy Red Fleet punks evading Blue Fleet to win on 'victory points'. For the Flight Officer's analysis on the excercise, go to http://www.xtc56.dial.pipex.com/ImpStorm.htm.
