Eh...another big news week!
-Wing/Squadron News-
- General Gallows offed and retired! That's right, the best WC in the Fleet moved off to the Reserves for a few days, before joining the elite Omega Squadron...thanks to Gallows for creating the best bloody Wing in the Fleet, and being the best WC! As said innumerable times before, we'll miss ya..
- ...and we welcome in the new Wing Commander! None other than MAJ Rasta Mon Harkonnen! Congratulations to the new WC!
- In relation to that last bit of news, Ford would like to present to you this little object.

- More happenings! With the departures of VA Freelancer and MA...er...LC Harkonnen, the Theta and Rho CMDR spots have opened up...and, uh, closed! :P Congratulations to the CMDR/CM Michael Emrys/Theta!
- Who could be the Rho CMDR? Who else but CMDR/CM Calzeo Inkwolf, the new Rho boss! Inky definitely deserves the promo, but we want her to stay in Psi, kriff it! :P Congratulations, and good luck with them Rho bunch!
- More people leaving! CPT Psyko has departed to the Reserves for most of the summer, as he'll be off working at some tom-foolish boy scout camp. Good luck, Psyko, and, uh, don't get killed or anything, because, uh, we need you to come back to Psi :P
- With Inky leaving, the Three Flight FL spot is open. Ford's pretty much settled on a candidate, but applications are welcome until...er...Tuesday?
- The Ace Award! This month, the Ace of Psi goes to.....Lieutenant Nemesis! Congratulations, Nem on the Ace title and a Palpatine Crescent well deserved! The June Ace Requirements?

- The Top Gun Award, the monthly award given out each month to the pilot who flies the most missions in the month, goes to none other than the Ace of Psi for June, LT Nemesis! (btw, does anyone know a few synonyms for congratulations? Ford feels as if he's repeating himself way too many times :P). :::Ford skips off to recommend the ISM award for the Top Gun::::
Now that LT Nemesis isn't eligible for next month, who could be the new Top Gun? Only time will tell...
- As a result of his promotion, LC Harkonnen has declared (probably rather hastily and unwisely :P) that drinks in the cantina are on him for the next week! No! Wait! Lemme finish wit da briefing!

- CR 9 is over, and Psi had 5 submissions. Ouch? Folks, we got our clocks cleaned. If you guys have any desire whatsoever to get to the 'playoffs' in the Squadron League, then we need 100% participations. Otherwise, Ford doubts we'll even get in the top 8, and we can sit out and watch squadrons who actually try to duel it out.
- LCM Sidian has been awarded the Medal of Instruction!
- For winning the trivia in the #tiecorps meeting last week, Ford was awarded an Imperial Security Medal.
- Psi Squadron Trivia is over! Not very many submissions, but it was a close race! The scores:

- Psi IRC Meetings? Ford's been looking lately to re-instate this old, time-honored tradition. The two times Ford's thinking of holding them are 3 or 4 CST on Saturdays or Sundays...your thoughts?
- Ford's attempting to move the Psi webpage to a squadron.org account...the look will mostly go unchanged, but Ford can't stand the pop-up ads and banners from Geocities, no offense, Sas :P
- LT Nemesis has transferred o'er to Two Flight to become one of the few, the proud, the Chick Magnets :P
-Orders-
- FLY BATTLE 148!!! Deadline for Ford to actually get the score report in is *tonight*! Aside from mission 3, this battle really isn't hard..now go fly it so we can beat da X suckas!
- The Wing II banner competition is still on-going. The two categories are one link-sized banner, and one 'any-sized' banner. Send submissions in to LC Harkonnen by the 6th....CCing in Ford, of course. Winners receive Palpatine Crescents, runners-up ISMs.
