Psi Report # 0 (2000-10-15)

This report was submitted by LC Ford Prefect

Ford's currently debating with himself a standard of punishment for all Psi pilots that do not comply with the new 'build a shrine to his Fordliness' policy. Stay tuned for more gruesome details.

-Squadron News-

- CM Zekk Terrik and LT Tam Weltl have returned from their wayward journey to the Battlegroups! Welcome back, you two prodigals :P Zekk re-occupies his previous spot, FL of Two Flight, and Tam fills up another space in Three Flight.

- The first round of the Sin / Psi challenge is over! After a week in which to fly Free-TIE 122, we managed a three-pilot submission rate. Disappointing, but we got a few good scores out of it..Psi's results:

MAJ Ford Prefect:

Lasers: 4,378 / 4,605
Missiles: 16 / 16
Score: 82,766
Laserless Score: 69,632

CPT Jens Vigsted:

Lasers: 4,565 / 4,634
Missiles: 16 / 16
Score: 83,023
Laserless Score: 69,328

LCM Jon Doyle:

Lasers: 4,721 / 5,124
Missiles: 15 / 16
Score: 87,401
Laserless Score: 73,238

Ford doesn't have Sin's results, but conversation with CM Stele Pellaeon of Sin has revealed that Stele and Mordred Pendragon were Sin's top two scorers...meaning they will face off against Jon, Psi's top scorer, and Ford, who narrowly edged out CPT Vigsted.

This will bring us into the next round of the competition...which begins immediately! Ford, Jon, Mord and Stele are to fly Free-TIE 111, 'Ricardo's Escape'. The tag-team with the highest average wins! Top-scoring pilot gets an ISM, and the losing team's flights get their nicknames and mottos re-named by the winners! Go us! :-P

- CPTs Amadeo and Psyko remain on leave...cooooome baaaaaaaaack!

- The deadline for SSS trivia is 11:59 pm EST this evening (17th)! Get those trivia answers into LCM Jon Doyle and / or Ford, who will in turn get them to Inky, who will in turn...geh, never mind :-P (trivia, for once, should be correctly attached :-P)

- We have a new SL! ::: passes happy celebration hats around :::: w00t! Happy SL Dance! Happy SL Dance! Greetings and salutations, Sub-Lieutenant Pyle! Welcome to Psi!

- We also have another potential Psi member...be on the lookout for a transfer from a one-time Wing IIer soon ;P

- Flight vs. Flight vs. Flight competition continues..more details in the Orders section.

- Ford beginning to get evil plots in his head...look out for some possible intra-squadron comps soon..

- Squadron League (the fleet-wide TIE Fighter competition run by COM Kramer) final results are still being awaited...urk :-P

- Border Wars II Results! As some of you may know, the Border Wars was originally a competition with the Rebel Squadron's TIE Fighter division, Retribution Fleet. However, since relations with the Rebel Squadrons were recently broken off, the Border Wars continued as an intra-wing competition...Psi's results for Mission 2:

LCM Jon Doyle:

Score: 26,505
Warheads: 4 - 6
Lasers: 99 - 272
Laserless score: 26,208
