-Squadron News-
- A few days left in the Flight vs. Flight vs. Flight competition...battle to be flown is, of course, TC-132, 'Battle of the Bins'. It's not a terribly difficult mission, but it can be tricky, so Ford would advise all who have yet to fly it to hurry up! Thus far, Ford has one submission from each flight...definitely expecting more submissions before the deadline! (deadline being the end of the month)
- Ford went through the rosters recently, and found several pilots who were eligible for the Commendation of Bravery, but had not yet received one...so, congratulations to the Commendation's newest recipients...CPTs Psyko and Onwai Starborne, and LT Otter! Remember, to be eligible for the CoB, you must fly at least 30 TC missions (equivalent to 30 FCHG points).
- Ford was awarded the Silver Star this week. Yay :-P
- CM Zekk, twice Flight Leader of Two Flight, has transferred to the Reserves due to RL problems...he expressed an intention of coming back, but, it appears as if he'll be in command of his own squadron again, having procured another CMDR spot. Congrats to him, and good luck on his new post.
- Now that the Two Flight FL status is officially straightened out, Ford can announce that he is indeed accepting applications for the position. He's already received two applications...if there are any others who would like to apply for the post, e-mail Ford before this coming Friday, as he wishes to get the spot filled quickly. Include in applications why you want the position, what you want to do with the position, and any past experience relevant to the position.
- Three Flight banner contest! Ford is sponsoring a banner contest for Three Flight! LCM Jon Doyle has been working on an excellent Three Flight webpage, but needs a banner to go with it! So, all graphically endowed parties interested in making a banner are encouraged to do so until this coming Wednesday! Send all submissions to Ford and WC Inkwolf. Inkwolf will be judging the banners, and the banner proclaimed to be the best will not only be featured on Three Flight's webpage, but the creator of said banner will also receive a shiny ISM!

- The Psi - Sin Squadron duel ended this Wednesday, and results have been announced...congratulations go out to Sin Squadron, the winners of this hard-fought match! The official scores:

- CPT Psyko remains on emergency shore leave, and CPT Amadeo should be transferring to the Reserves any day now...but, at the rate the transfer is being processed, he may be back in action before it actually shows up on the rosters :-P
- Once everything's taken care of roster-wise, Psi should have at least two spots open...Ford's been contacted by one personage some of you may remember (a victim of one of many thrashings Psi dealt out), who may be interested in joining...if you know of anyone who may be interested in joining, talk to 'em! And don't forget that the Daedlus is open for recruitmen...um...'helpful encouragement'. Just make sure to follow the prescribed rules of recruiting on the Daedlus.
- As echoed for the past three weeks, *still* no Squadron League final standings. Sigh...
- In the same vein, no standings have been released either for the Supremacy Squadron Series...urk. :P Reportedly, though, the next phase is Graphics, so use the Three Flight banner contest as training :-P
- Psi Webpage scheduled for another update tomorrow...Ford should hopefully be adding some new sections of the site sometime in the future.

- Operation: Release the TIEs is *ACTIVE*!!! That's right! The battle lines have been drawn, the teams formed, and the final instructions posted! Psi, along with Sin and Rho Squadrons, will form Red Team, whilst Kappa, Theta and Sigma form Blue Team. The following Psi members signed up for the excercise:
