Tornado Report - 3 November 2000

Quick and easy report this week, since I just got back from a Navy course and all I'm concentrating on is getting these activity reports sorted out from all my emails and getting your BSFs done tonight. Ready? Here it comes...

Squadron League
For reasons best known only to himself, the BGCOM has withdrawn all of Wings VIII, IX and XI from the Squadron League. Luckily, with at least five of our Squadrons in the Top 10 and both the Gold and Silver Trophy winners from last years League in Wing X, we're still carrying on. It does strike me as a strange announcement to make, since no-one in the Battlegroups outside of our Wing made it to the Playoffs anyway, so announcing a withdrawal doesn't make the slightest bit of difference to the results, but there you go. Mere Squadron CMDRs aren't supposed to understand this sort of thing anyway, we're still in there and that's all we need to worry about :)

Wing Commander's Own Announced
This month, it's none other than Thunder Squadron, and having seen their Weekly Reports, I can see why! MAJ Gallia's done an awesome job getting Thunder back up to the standard that they enjoyed under CPT Darklord, send them your congratulations if you've got the time :)
