MAJ Jonathan reporting in for Yod Squadron on November 11, 2000.
First off, let's all welcome SL Deathangel to Yod! He has already proved
that he is a very active pilot and will be a valuable asset to Yod. Now, I
just have to keep from getting SL Deathangel and LT Angel confused. :-P
The Yod web site (http://www.crimson-net.org/Yod/) has been updated. Be
sure to go there and visit the "Citation Comp"and "Other Orders" pages.
Also, give me some ideas for a new MIDI file in the background. I'm getting
kind of tired of the one that is on there now.
Remember that the Flight Leader rotation is coming around in January. Right
now it looks as if LCM Starfire and LT Red Fox are in the running for the
two FL spots. In order to be promoted to LCM or CM, you must be a FL so if
you want promoted, be very, very active and you may just be promoted to FL!
Also, be mindful that if you reach 150 FCHG points, I will award you an ISM.
***Competitions***
~Squadron League Playoffs~
We are in the Squadron League Playoffs! The details will be announced
tomorrow (November 12). I expect ALL pilots to fly for this above
everything else. There will be no exceptions unless you are having computer
problems or are on leave with a very good reason. If you don't fly, you
better have a very good excuse like having an amputated arm, the black
plague, or being dead. ;-) Not really but I'm not going to take lame
excuses on this one.
~Wing IV Swat the Flies~
An accuracy competition that ends November 19. If you need the file to fly,
please let me know. I have received zero submissions.
~Yod Super Citation Competition~
The first battle for this round has been assigned (TC TIE 79). I have
received submissions from myself and LT Red Fox. Remember, if you want to
receive an ISM at the end of the round, you must submit a pilot file for
this even if you have already flown it. An old pilot file will do. A new
battle will be assigned one week from today. Please visit the Yod web site
for more details.

Overall I am very pleased with how things are going. We have a few zombie
pilots but I hope that you all will come out of that. Everyone be sure to
fly TC TIE 79 and whatever is assigned for the SL Playoffs. I look very
kindly upon activity when it comes time to award medals and promotions.
