Well, another great week has gone by. I am extremely happy with the amount of hard work I see all of you pilots performing, this is the kind of squad that makes me proud to be a CMDR!
FLEET NEWS:
- The Graphics course is now online. You can check it out at http://www.imperialacademy.org/graphics/. The course professor is CM Daisuke Airyu.
- The biggest X-Wing Alliance, single player, fleetwide competition has ended.

15 squadrons from around the fleet competed for the title of best XWA Squadron and the nice medals that go on offer for the event. Ranger Squadron pulled a stunning victory pulling an early lead then keeping ahead of the pack with the larger squadrons just behind. Through high scores and sheer dedication the squadron have earned the title for the second time.
WING NEWS:
- Vanguard Interactive Battle (ViB) is getting back underway under the direction of Ender mBind. The site is http://isdvanguard.emperorshammer.ca/vib/. Go sign up if you can write for our newspaper or design XWA missions.
- As reported last week, LC DS-61-4 has stepped down as CMDR of Echo Squadron. CM Strahd will replace him.
SQUADRON NEWS:
- Wasp is WC's Own again, the second time in a row! This is a testament to how truly excellant you guys are. I firmly believe we are the best squad on the Vanguard, and one of the best in the fleet! GO WASP!
- Congrats to LT Dankin on his promotion to LT!
- A hearty welcome to SL Mo, who has joined us off the Daedalus. We are glad to have you!
- CM Jourdain has the flight pages up. They are very nicely done, I suggest you check them out.
- I still need to hear opinions on the Operation: Superiorty comp from LT Dankin and CPT CTXclr. Please let me know what you think.
ACTIVITY:
CPT Jdf1984 - Flew TC-XvT #2, 3, 5, and 6. Completed the ICQ IWATS Course. Awarded a PC for March activity and a BS for his involvement in the Vanguard Fiction and Graphics comp.
MAJ Archon - Flew TC-XvT #6 and 7.
LT Dankin - filled out INPR, promoted to LT!
CM Jourdain - got the Wasp Flight pages up and running, Awarded an ISM for March activity and an ISM for the flight pages.
LT Patrick Blastfire - Won 5 times at OR, completed the ICQ and II/2 IWATS courses, awarded a PC for March Activity.
SL Mo - Joined the squad!
MAJ Prophet - Awarded a PC for March activity, completed the ICQ IWATS course, sumbitted a design for the EH contest, flew the TCS battle, and completed TC-TIE #63, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 69, 71, 72, 73, 74 and 75.
CPT CTXclr - No report. PLEASE get in touch with me, CTX. I will be forced to transfer you to the Reserves soon...
LT Argos Staneth - Awarded a PC for March activity, won 7 matches at XWA OR, and 1 at TNT.
