Welcome to Aylin Squadron Weekly Report #69, being for the
week of 18 through 24 December 2000.

This report comes to you early, as I have to make a long extended
journey from Colorado Springs, Colorado to El Paso, Texas. This kind
of equates to traveling from Coruscant to Kuat.......
I should however be back by late Sunday evening.

Squadron News:
If I have misnumbered these last two reports, please let me know.
I have overcome the problem of the virus and having to reformat my
computer, and have ensured internet access for the next few months.
So we should be able to venture forth bravely into the new year!!

Those of you that need to name your fighter, assign call signs,
take leave or post your INPR,... you can do all this at the
TIE Corps Administration menu. If you need assistance, please let
me know and I’ll see what I can do.

Squadron Status:
LC Gen Es’mith - Recovering from the virus and rebuilding my
computer. Flew TC-16 and 18. Work has REALLY started on the
process of starting to rebuild the Aylin Webpage..which will take
some time, as the web editor I used before is obsolete, so I have to
start all over. Active on email.
LT Face Loran - No activity.
LT Focault - Flew TIE Battle 108.. Active on email and AIM.
LT Hotshot - Active on email and AIM.
LCM Jennif Es’mith - Actively “reading and deleting” email.
LT DS-61-2 - Flew FM 20 and 138. Active on email and AIM.
Going on leave until January.
LT Rogue Ronin - Active on AIM

Awards:
LC Gen Es’mith awarded the Silver Star of the Empire and advanced
to Centurion in the FCHG.,
Award recommendation read as follows:
The request was made by: COM/FA Kramer/SSSD Sovereign

Reason given for request: MAJ Proton and I agree that LC Es'mith
should have been promoted to full COL, but due to an unfortunate
break in his duties as CMDR / Aylin, we have to wait a while yet
before the FO will approve this one. Es'mith is one of the finest
CMDRs we've worked with, and a Silver Star is our way of
saying "thanks!" for all the fine work he's done . . . :)

I can only say that I am more than honored. I am also glad that due
to the hiccup of my command status, I am still available to the
wing and the squadron as an active commander.

Current Assignments:
Fly FM-20 by Christmas for the Aylin Squadron Competition. Winner
gets ISM.
Fly FM-138 by Dec. 30 for the Wing V Competition. Winner gets PC.

Wing News:
Major Sickman has been promoted to Lieutenant Commander!
LT Izlude from Mem Squadron has died. A moment of silence would be
appropriate in honor of his fine service to the Empire.
