Beth Squadron Report #7 - March 12th, 2000

Introduction
--------------------------------------------
This was quite a good week for Beth. At first I was quite disappointed that
Beth got only two submissions for the XWA League, but with 3 last-minute
submissions, we got 5 in total, which is ok (but not the best...). This
week's Beth meeting was good again, but it looks like we never get more than
4 people showing up at once... Next week I'd like to see more than half of
the squadron attending to our great meetings!
Beth has lost 3 pilots in this week, we're only eight again. Also we lost
and re-gained a citation this week.

- LT Mazen has gone AWOL
- CM Werdna, LCM Var, LT Cal, (LT Lavos) and CM Sequoh attended to this
week's Beth meeting
- CM Werdna, LT Cal, CM Sequoh, LCM Var and LT Cray flew Privateer1 for the
XWA League
- Merrik Stele has been promoted to LT! Congrats!
- LT Cal, LCM Var, LT Merrik, CM Werdna and CM Sequoh have applied to fly in
Imperial Storm
- CM Werdna, LT Cal and CM Sequoh participated in last week's Zone XWA Comp.
- LCM Nylad, I haven't heard from you. Contact me ASAP please

Fleet News

- Outer Rim Night- EH Wins -VA Havoc
One of the slowest Outer Rim Night ever. We only had
14 matches. Hopefully Next week will be better; to view
the XvT results go here and XWA results here.

- Flight Officer Personnel Updates - FA Kessler
The TIE Corps is advised that Fleet Admiral Kessler's email address has
changed to kessler@btinternet.com. His old Pipex address will remain
operational, but the majority of his correspondence will now originate
from
the BT Internet address.

In unrelated news, the Flight Officer today celebrates 30 years experience
of not dying. Any funny comments about his age will be replied to with
maximum uneccesary use of violence :P

- EH Domain Updated - HA Kawolski
Grand Admiral Ronin has updated the
emperorshammer.org news page and domain with the
latest fleet announcements two days ago.

- Mail problems - HA Kawolski
Crystaltech is having a few mail problems with
tiecorps.org. Fortunately, with all the problems we've had
with Web Burner and their mail server going down every
other day, we're prepared to handle operations manually
without the server. However, this means that until it gets
back up, I can't get going on the 200+ BSFs pending
because that's just too many to mail out manually
written BSF approval letters. I haven't been around for
the last few days and I've got my biggest mid-term
tomorrow. After that, I'll be catching up on almost a
week's worth of EH/TAC work to do.
