Beth Squadron Report #4 - February 20th, 2000

Introduction
--------------------------------------------
Moderate week for Beth. There was not too much happening lately.
Beth and Flight III have a new motto and nickname! Congratulations go to LT
Neo, LT Lavos and CM Werdna for submitting their ideas. See our roster for
the results.
The winner of the Logo comp. has been decided! All seven votes pointed to
submission #4, made by LCM Var and me. It will be the new Beth logo
officially, when the new nickname and motto have been added to it.
Although most pilots have been attended to the Beth meetings at least once,
I'd like to see more people attending to them regularly. Up to now, there've
never been more than 4 Squadron Members attending to them. I expect that to
change!

Squadron News and Activity

- The XWA league has started. The mission is Privateer1 (attatched) Fly it
until the 3.11.00, and send your pilot file to me. Every two weeks it will
be decided on a fixture between two teams. The winning team gets 3 points, a
tie results in 1 point for each team. The fixtures for the 22 weeks are
shown somwhere on this page:
http://members.tripod.co.uk/eh_badlands/co2/main.htm ; I think we fly
against Ranger squad. in the first two weeks.
- CM Werdna Elbee, LT Lavos and LT Cal Sinis attended to the Beth meeting
and played multiplayer afterwards.
- CM Werdna Elbee has completed Free-XWA 6 and 7
- LT Cal Sinis has been awarded an ISM for regular meeting attendance, good
multiplayer flying skills and activity
- LCM Var Zoraan will be awarded an ISM for having created the winning logo

-AlliED 1.32 released
A quick update on AlliED v1.32 for a few minor changes to
the briefing editor, allowing it to import briefings. More
details can be found at the AlliED homepage at
http://homepages.picknowl.com.au/troyd/.

-Administration - New Feature
The administration section is back online and operational
with a new feature! Now it's easier to submit bug reports
and reviews for battles! You can log in right at the
submission form.

-Newsletter #62 released
