Pilots of Koph Squadron:

A busy week this week. First, a couple significant news items:

High Admiral Kawolski has resigned as the Emperor's Hammer Tactical Officer. His replacement, and former Command Attache, is Admiral Striker.

Fleet Admiral Rapier has resigned from his post as the Emperor's Hammer Security Officer.

Major Firebird has -not- resigned from his duties as the Commander of Koph Squadron (just in case anyone was wondering :P).

Combat Run #13 has come to a close. I'm sorry to say that Koph Squadron's only submission was my own. Of course, Joe and Brian both know that the fact that I actually flew a battle is somewhat remarkable, but still...

Most of you have been inactive for 27 days now. I realize that I'm probably sending my mails directly to /dev/null on all of your systems. To remedy the situation, I'm continuing my recruiting campaign on PLT Daedalus, and hope to get some fresh new recruits in here soon. In three days we're sure to have more than enough bunk space around here.

In other news, I'd like to announce that I've gotten a new pet! Yes, to follow in the footsteps of the other CMDRs and WC Joe, I now have a pet monarch butterfly! He's small.. he's scary.. and his name is Boo-Boo!

So.. all of you had better email me this week (doesn't have to be anything elaborate, just "Hey Firebird, I'm alive!" is sufficient). If you don't, Boo-Boo will come nibble lightly on your ear.
