Koph Report # 8 (2000-10-17)

This report was submitted by MAJ Firebird

Pilots of Koph Squadron:

Well ok, another late squadron report. My excuse this time is that I
no longer have to write weekly reports to my boss on Fridays, so I
forgot to do this one as well. I think I'll start writing weekly
reports to my boss again even though he said he doesn't need them, and
then I'll remember to write the squadron report.

If you read the activity reports, I left off everything between 10/14
and today because it'll go in this Friday's report. There's already
stuff in there though, keep up the good work, folks :)

I've already gotten several .tfrs from Mezynski and Mauser. Still
waiting for some from Place, but I'm confident they will arrive soon.

There's been a lot of activity on the Wing VI mailing list, and it's
nice to see that I haven't had to hold up our end all by myself. By
the way, the damage that idiot Bonzo did to my face has been repaired
due to a favor I pulled with a certain doc on the M/FRG Phoenix. All
the more reason we have to win the competition we started.

LC Mezynski says TC-TIE 157 is easy. I'm going to hold on to the .tfrs
till 24 hours before the due date, so if you decide you want to resubmit, that's not a problem.

Quick preview of things to come: once we win the current competition,
I'd like everyone to fly TC-TIE 153: The Koph Supremacy Project. I
haven't flown it myself yet, but it's a battle created and designed by
a former incarnation of Koph Squadron, and I think it's kind of silly
for us to have a battle named after us and for none of us to have
flown it. If there's interest, I'd be up for a second Koph Supremacy
Project and the creation of a new battle sometime in the future.

First priority, of course, is winning the competition we declared.
Second priority should be recruiting at least two more pilots. That
would give us six, and we would then be eligible for several squadron
citations as soon as that sixth pilot joins.

That will be all,
Major Firebird
