The wiki has been slowly going through multiple updates. Aside from the fantastic front page that Kalve Ryder crafted for us, I have been retooling the Templates slowly to bring them into line with the quality expected from sites like Wikipedia or Wookieepedia. These new templates allow us to cross reference different pages, create landing pages for similar named pages, and flesh out information. Additionally, I have been slowly trimming the fat of small landing pages that offer nothing to the wiki overall. Expect to see more red links for pages that used to have 10 words or less on them.

The EH manual conversion has also been underway. The System Manual is nearly completed and should be finalized by the end of the year, at which time we can sunset the old System Manual in favor of the new wiki-centric manual. Many of the planet images you will see on the new System Manual were rendered by Kalve Ryder, the EH’s resident graphics wizard. I have been working with the Training Officer to ensure we maintain synchronization between the new manual and the current course notes for the Imperial University System courses. Through the TO, we will not only update the current course exams but expand on the currently active courses to include more systems.

By utilizing the wiki, we will have far better revision control and historical tracking than before. The System Manual was just the first manual to be converted to the wiki. Eventually, I plan on converting more manuals such as the EH Training Manual and the Hammer's Fist Field Manual. The TC’s HA Plif is currently transitioning the TIE Corps Pilot’s Manual to the wiki as well, and I always stand ready to lend him a helping hand should he need it.

Style guides are also going under a massive overhaul. The wiki style guides should be focused on helping you write the best article you can, and currently they fall far short of that mark. Eventually, these style guides will dovetail into the IU Wiki course, which I plan to update in the near future. In additional to style guides, there will also be recommended content guides for pages such as Unit pages to help standardize the fleet.

As you may have seen the announcement earlier today, LC Honsou has taken on the additional role as the Logistics Office Assistant. Honsou has been tasked with helping re-organize the current EH cannon that we have displayed on the wiki. In doing so, we aim to create an encompassing historical narrative based on fiction posted through newsletters and our champions of fictions such as the WARD. The cannon pages have not been updated in quite some time, so this will be a massive undertaking to modernize the timeline as well as fill in the gaps from the last several years.

Lastly, to cap the idea of modernizing the timeline, the Office is also assisting our TIE Corps Battlegroup Commanders in drafting the framework for producing year long campaigns that will help tie our fleet wide competitions together. Without going into specifics, the working group will start moving forward to have the framework together following Raise the Flag. We plan on using year long narrative prompts to drive each of our fleet wide comps and tie them together.

I do follow wiki activity and I take notice of those making thoughtful contributions. If you see something that needs addressing, please make the changes you feel fit.
