Well, RtF is over, and the bar was raised this
year by the Challenge and Hammer. The Warrior
came in 3rd with slightly fewer points than last year. Theta came
in 6th/16. The man, the
myth, the legend GN Pickled Yoda again carried the squad. Overall, a respectable effort. Life can get in the way, and I’d love to see
a higher % participation, even if not crazy high score, but we’ll get them
next time. I do think we have a bit of
burnout. That being said, there is
nothing wrong with moderate, consistent activity. During RtF, we also gained a pilot, SL Tango, so
please welcome him! |

Squadron Competitions |

While it’s not an official competition, yet, given
our new role, and two changes in fighters now, our Flight nicknames and
mottoes don’t seem to make much sense.
There is an argument to be made for the squadron motto, but I’m ok
with it, too depending on the squad’s thoughts. Once I figure out how to make a competition
(or two) out of that, you’ll be the second to know (after getting it
approved). |
