| It's
been two weeks since my last report, again,
for which I apologise. I thought I'd found a method of getting work and hobby time in while still having
time to sleep, and then the joy of State Testing reared its ugly head.
As such, September has been very lean on the activity and also the
reports. If I'm lucky, I'll get some time for Star Conflict or
something simple later this week. GN La'an has retired from the Squadron due to the impending birth of his second child. We wish General and Mrs. La'an well, and demand lots of picture of the new littlest Firebird when he or she arrives. Raise the Flag is on the immediate horizon; I believe aside from some last minute discussion on technical details, it's ready for kick-off on October 1st. The TCCOM will announce more details closer to the date. |

Firebird
Squadron Echelon Guardian:
Monthly competition to determine which Firebird pilot best honours the
memory of the Infiltrator Wing with their performance and claims the
honorary title of Echelon Guardian. Firebird Squadron Training: Every two weeks, Firebird (with guests from the Challenge) will assemble for Multiplayer Training! Star Wars Squadrons, EA Battlefront 2, and others; let's try to get full flights working together! |

With RtF in the immediate future, I'd like to see pilots
starting to warm up for the inevitable activity blitz; RtF is a
marathon rather than a sprint, but we still need to get in the zone.
The Challenge is by far the strongest ship as a whole; we have the
community, the drive, and the talent to take the trophy away from the
Warrior and return it to its rightful home. To do that, we all need to
be at our best (that includes me, too). October 7 is also my 1 year anniversary as CMDR, so we might
do something fun as a squadron, we'll see how timetables align! GN Stryker |
