| There were perks to Squadron
Command, such as rank, bigger quarters, more money, a little more
freedom of movement, and so on. But there were also downsides, like
being the Officer of the Day when someone decided to complicate their
quarters transfer by requisitioning furnishings that were simply too
large for the entrance to their quarters. Somehow, and Stryker attributed this to battle damage and the age of the systems, the difference in dimensions had been missed by the ship's central computer and the Quartermaster had approved the request. Stryker had been called to an altercation outside the officer's quarters where a newly-promoted and very irate Lieutenant was berating the droids assigned to move his new couch. It had taken the threat of a court-martial to calm the man, but eventually he had calmed enough to actually think about the situtation. Dismissing the droids that lacked the creativity to get the job done, a few otherwise-unoccupied enlisted men had been drafted to carefully manoeuvre the offending piece of furniture through the door and put it in place. After that, it had been a simple threat to shoot the man if he ever wanted the couch moved again, and Stryker was allowed to finish his shift in piece. | Unfortunately,
Major Jedgar has been forced to transfer to the Reserves due to
personal reasons. We hope he returns soon! March MSEs have been approvedand I am making the medal recommendations as I type this report! Our journey to eleven tasks in Exercise (Re)Mobilisation 3 was completed moments after the previous report was released. We are now at twelve tasks complete, with only Battle and Free Mission 59.5% or more scores to go. It would be nice if we could complete these challenges before the end of April, but we can rest now we've hit our goal. Our very own Woody has just shown me his prototype embroidered patches; an interest list is being circulated through Discord announcements. They're pretty fancy, and I'll be ordering one to go with my Firebird patch! In a surprise move, MP Ace of the TIE Corps has seen a change; Star Wars Squadrons games will instead be counted as a seperate competition, meaning only the classics (XvT & XWA), Battlefront, and Star Conflict LoCs will count towards this goal. |

(Re)Mobilisation 3: Two months, fourteen challenges. Brand-new MUA and TUA up for grabs in addition to prizes ranging from IS-GWs to BWs. TIE Corps in Battle (TCiB): The TCCOM's High Score Hunt, one battle each from TIE, XvT, and XWA will be assigned monthly. Trivia for the Challenged 2021 - Season 1: Four trivia questions every week, points awarded based on time and number of correct answers. Prizes for weekly, monthly, and season winners, along with further prizes for points-based achievements. |
