| Stryker fumed at his desk as he
looked at the results coming in from the exercise; Lambda and Tempest
had finished already, while Avenger squadron (representing the
Admirals) had one task to go. Firebird Squadron, understrength and
under-equipped since its inception six months previously, was currently
on track to take fourth place with eight out of the required eleven
tasks completed. It was a bitter pill to swallow following their success in the Chalquilla Cup, which Firebird had claimed first place with an eleven-to-one win-loss ratio. Still, exercises like ReMobilisation were more about activity than skill, and Stryker knew he'd be far happier with a half-strength squadron that he could trust than a bunch of new and enthusiastic children who didn't know the meaning of teamwork, honour, and dignity. |

| How
is it April already?! As of Wednesday, I believe, Firebird will have
been open for over six months, which is amazing! From Firebird spawned
Eagle, and hopefully in time we'll see a third squadron and our own
ship become reality. Until then, we just need to keep being awesome. (Re)Mobilisation 3 is upon us, with three squadrons having already finished - Lambda, Theta and Avenger. While they should be congratulated on completing their eleven tasks so early, perhaps next time they could consider sparing us mere mortals the embarassment of being out of the running within four days :P Finally, and the biggest news to share, is that the Chalquilla Cup is more-or-less over, with one match still to be played followed by any tie-breakers. First place however, belongs to Firebird Team 1, aka 'Foghorn Leghorn', who went 11-1 and fell only to Lambda's cheeky (some might say unsportsmanlike) use of three Support Craft with Mines and Turrets to ruin any semblance of fun the game may have! I am of course joking about that, but I had to be talked down by Travis and Turel because I was not happy with that result. |

(Re)Mobilisation 3: Two months, fourteen challenges. Brand-new MUA and TUA up for grabs in addition to prizes ranging from IS-BWs to GWs. TIE Corps in Battle (TCiB): The TCCOM's High Score Hunt, one battle each from TIE, XvT, and XWA will be assigned monthly. Trivia for the Challenged 2021 - Season 1: Four trivia questions every week, points awarded based on time and number of correct answers. Prizes for weekly, monthly, and season winners, along with further prizes for points-based achievements. |

| We
hit the ground running with (Re)Mob 3; but things have slowed down a
little due to the remaining challenges being SP focused. Firebird has
never been, nor will it ever be, a squadron where people are forced to
play formats they do not enjoy. If this means we have to give up podium
positions for competitions like ReMob or Raise the Flag, so be it. I
would rather have a squadron that was made up of pilots who were happy
with their performance wherever it came, than one which pinned all of
