The Empire versus Lola Eris was officially opened this past week for an Article 407 violation (False Statements/Cheating). The verdict of this case should be announced by Sunday's TIE Corps meeting so stay tuned for that. Remember, you are not allowed to open/examine mission files without express written permission from the Tactical Officer. Failure to obey this can result in disciplinary action. Cheating is just stupid anyway as the database automatically checks each pilot file for pilot file editing and the such - you can't really get away with it so don't bother trying.

Unfortunetly I did not get too much done this week concerning the new judicial system. I was out of town for the most part applying for jobs and getting interviewed as I will be moving this fall to a new university to pursue my bachelor's degree. Until the new system is in place the Fleet Commander and Executive Officer (who will be announced at Saturday's EH meeting - don't miss it) will decide the outcome of cases.

-Internet security matters.
The latest virus threats can be found online here (opens a new window). It also provides documents on new computer threats, fixes, and other useful information.

-Faster timeframe for issues to be resolved, brought to the HCI, etc.
Case processed within two days upon recieving it. Not bad.

-Revise Articles of War and Bylaws in consultation with relevant parties.
