First up is the fact that once again, the only subgroup providing consistant roster dumps is the BHG. This is a core duty of all SGCOMs, it's a requirement of your jobs, so why is it so hard? What's so hard about requesting that your database person set this up for you, just like the BHG has? I want to see an immediate improvement in this area.

Secondly, in recent times, the concept of CO unity has been lost on a small number of those in CO positions. This has resulted in unacceptable behaviour, including public trashing of new appointees, publically questioning orders and general crappy attitude. This isn't acceptable and while the majority do conduct themselves in a good fashion, the minority that continue with this sort of behaviour will find themselves on an increasingly shortened leash.

Last week, I sent out an email to the TIE Corps, as a "hello, I'm here" type thing. The email explained the position of XO and areas of activity relating to the Executive Office that members can take part in. The response so far has been fairly positive. One important thing that comes out of this and relates to the previous point about CO behaviour, is we should be promoting each other's work. One specific example of this would be SGCOMs reminding their subgroup members that their works can be submitted to the EH Newsletter. Another example would be Command Officers supporting the good works and achievements of their peers, such as Sarin's work with COO or Gelton's work with the DB. I'd like to see more of that in the future.
