Merry Christmas y'all! And welcome to the first of what I believe will be many reports as Communications Officer. I would like to thank Astatine for appointing me to this position. I look forward to the challenges ahead, and working with YOU, the members of the Emperor's Hammer.

COMM NEWS

It's been quite a hectic week. Several pieces of news this week:

- The new Emperor's Hammer Message Boards are located at http://mb.emperorshammer.net so please update your web-site links and bookmarks accordingly. At this time we cannot get your posts from the EHNet.org boards, many apologies for that. These new boards are being hosted by Astatine, so be sure to thank him.

If you need Moderator access on a board, either PM or e-mail me.

- The Security Officer and I have submitted a revised version of the IRC Codes of Conduct (CoC's) to the Fleet Commander for review, so keep an eye out for these.

COMM Miscellaneous

- A new COMM Office website will be open... soon...

- A new Medal of Communication system, another COMM-like project, will also be coming soon. *waits for the cheers from the spammers to die down*

- Several competitions will be started soon, aiming at boosting usage of both IRC and the Message Boards. Announcements will be made as to when they are starting, so there's no excuse to not participate. Don't let me down! *puppydog eyes*
