Security Office News

After seven weeks, I finally had to send someone to the High Court. The Empire versus Sannah will take place soon hopefully, with Article of War violations 403, 408, and 409. Needless to say that if I send you to the HCI, you've worn out your welcome because I give a fair few chances to change your behavior.

Other than that, it has been pretty slow. Just remember to obey the Codes of Conduct (IRC) and fleet bylaws everywhere. Just because you don't use an [EH] tag in say Free Worlds or Star Wars Galaxies, does not excuse you from the rules. If it is found out that you're being a moron and you're in the EH, I will take action even if you're not wearing an EH tag.

The Security Office website now has some content. There is some text in the "SO Office" portion of the website which contains a little history about me. It's a good read!

2004 Security Office Tasks

-Internet security matters.
The latest virus threats can be found online here (opens a new window). It also provides documents on new computer threats, fixes, and other useful information.

-Faster timeframe for issues to be resolved, brought to the HCI, etc.
New case sent to the High Court yesterday. Security Office queue is clear.

-Revise Articles of War and Bylaws in consultation with relevant parties.
This project is apparantly suspended until further notice.
