Newsletter 105 is out. I did some slight modification on how this one is generated, using CSS for some of the database generated content. This resulted in a smaller size for some of the files. As always, I need more NL submissions. Just about anything Star Wars or EH related is accepted - fiction, graphics, articles, game reviews, etc. You get a Letter of Achievement, while the cover image and image of the month get a Bronze Star. Submissions should include your ID line and PIN.
The two XO competitions are still running. The first one (http://www.emperorshammer.net/competitions/details.asp?ID=1507) is about designing a skin for the web mail software I'm using. The other (http://www.emperorshammer.net/competitions/details.asp?ID=1508) is making a logo or banner for the hosting service I will be providing to EH members. Both competitions close at the end of this month.
A number of CO positions are currently open. Security Officer (http://www.ehnet.org/mb/viewtopic.php?t=3913), President of the Corporate Division (http://www.ehnet.org/mb/viewtopic.php?t=4037) and and Prefect of the Hammer's Fist (http://www.ehnet.org/mb/viewtopic.php?t=4040) are open for applications. Make sure you carefully read the position requirements before applying. Until SO is filled, I will be acting in the position, so if you have any SO related matters, email me about it.
Just a reminder about the expectations and boundaries of what COs are allowed to do. The following expectations apply:
- Weekly reports with *real* content
- Actual progression on tasks and projects
- Consultation with FC and XO before changes to your area (I'm looking at SGCOMs here)
- Performing your core duties as outlined in the Training Manual
