Once again the number of new complaints this week has been down to near minimum. Folks are behaving, they are using the chain of command to handle complaints, or things that should be reported are not being reported. Either way, it seems to look good. I wish to thank GA Ronin for awarding me with the Order of the Renegade (OoR). I am grateful to him for creating the EH and I plan to serve in this office for quite some time. There are many things I wish to accomplish and I'm still getting the hang of doing this job. It is quite unique and challenging. I thank those who have shown great patience in waiting for their complaints to be processed. I still have many to go through. I ask that those who sent a complaint recently to bear with me. Those who have waited a while on checking their complaint, feel free to check in. I try to answer your inquiries in a timely manner. My staff isn't always available so sometimes it is just I handling everything. We do have lives outside of handling your requests, but I try to ensure that you aren't waiting too long on your complaints. Things are looking promising for me being able to support a new domain website for the EH. My financial situation is improving, so I should be able to handle the payments that a web host and domain registration would require. Please feel free to give me advice on GOOD web hosting companies and services. I plan to administrate the domain myself, and am looking into which database-driven technologies to pursue. I'll be writing up what requirements I will need and then decide which web host can deliver them. The purpose to a new website domain for the EH is to offer service and support for those who approach me with complaints. It would better serve them if I offered a database that can allow them to log in with a name and password and they can view the status on all of the complaints that they sent to the Security Officer. This is my project for my office. Also I would like to have a website that provides enough storage so I can keep all of my WebPages in one place. It would save me the headache of trying to remember to update my WebPages that are on 4 different FTP sites. On none of these I have the features and control that I'm looking for.
