This week I received a number of new complaints. This makes up for the low number of new complaints from the previous weeks. Let me remind all of you that handling and investigating complaints takes time and I want to be sure to make sure it is done correctly, because I do not want to send anyone to the HCI when they shouldn't have gone. Plus if you don't go to the HCI and I give you an official warning, you do not have a next chance if you violate the regulations again. Be sure to know what the regulations are and to follow them. If you have difficulty understanding what the regulations are, ask your superior officers or me. It is much better to ask and find out what the regulations are than to violate them and say you didn't know what the regulations meant. There is no excuse for violating the regulations. As mentioned in Astatine's report and IRC announcements from last week's meeting, do not insult other SubGroups or parties in the Emperor's Hammer. We are all in the same club and putting down others does not help our reputation and it insults members. You could face a HCI trial for such actions. I expect that we won't see games from LucasArts that can be decent game platforms. They seem to focus on the consoles now with Episode II (and later III) titles. The biggest help would be a continuation of the X-Wing series and similar games. I expect with more people going to broadband Internet Service Providers, the multiplayer competitions will come more into play. Be sure to follow the rules with these competitions as cheating of any kind is not tolerated whatsoever. You do not get a second chance when it comes to cheating. Speaking of the webpage, I plan to create a Security Office database that will be helpful to the Security Office and to members sending complaints. I am welcoming suggestions now before I decide what kind of web hosting services I will need. I have tasked my staff with handling some of the complaints.
