Office News
This
was a pretty good week for the IO. As of last week, we had a total
of 20 images in the EH Greeting Card Center (GCC). Today, there
are 80 cards and 14 different categories including Christmas,
Birthday, Valentine's Day, Promotion and Awards, Defeat, Join
Subgroup, Get Well, Welcome Aboard, Good Luck, and more! We highly
encourage you to make use of this newly updated service and send
cards for any and every occasion! Use them to recruit even!
Anyone
who created images for the GCC was rewarded with a medal, so congratulations
to the following people on their medals for work on the GCC:
SS: Alex Foley, Ayudanter de la Clars, Keldorn, Toran Dan
BS: Kodiak Kereban
PC: Zekk Thyne
RA
Mutilator is working on the PHP IWATS course, and has a few pages
done already, look for it soon! Also, don't forget to take the
VBS, XML and Flash courses, all with professors from the IO staff!
And
now, the biggest news this week: MinosNIC. AD Turtle Jerrar, former
IO, has set up a "Network Information Center" which
is affiliated with the IO as an official IO project. This site
combines many different services into one centralized location.
The Stardestroyer.org Redirection Service has been merged with
MinosNIC and is one of the services. MinosNIC also offers free
webhosting, PHP capable, for all EH sites. More services will
be added soon, like a new EH web-ring, mailing lists, and more!
MinosNIC is run by AD Turtle and IOA Alex Foley and is now an
official Internet Office domain (which means the link will now
be included in every report in the links section). Please make
sure to make use of this wonderful collection of services at http://www.minos.net/!
MinosNIC
information and updates will be included in Internet Office reports.
