COMM Report #14

Hey again from COMM-vania. I ran out of adjectives to describe this week for our office. Not much news though, past the one big thing that happened. Said "thing" is the resignation of our CA:COMM, AD Quake. Yes, sadly, due to RL concerns, our faithful CA has retired after only a few weeks on our staff. So long Quake, we barely knew ya! Please do NOT send applications for CA:COMM, as the position has been tentatively filled. No announcements will be made about Quake's successor until the XO gives his seal of approval for the theoretical CA:COMM. Also, I've been having the sneaky suspicion that Alltel is being jerky about my email lately, so if you've been trying to email me any time after Wednesday afternoon, keep emailing, I may not have received a copy of your mail because of alltel.net's tomfoolery. Don't consider me on leave though, as if you need any COMM-style questions answered, your faithful CS-8 will be on IRC at almost all hours, so ask away there. Other than that, the MoC's continue to flow thanks to Ziggy, and DF is in good shape thanks to Kumba and Windows 98. >:P

Also, once the databases are transferred, I'd like to wish SA Kawolski a happy retirement, and the best of luck in the future. In the words of Darrell Hammond's Sean Connery on SNL, "Well done, Laddie!!"
