With AD Ramos' unexpected hard drive crash I'm doing the Logistics report this week [I apologise for the lateness but with the computer troubles of the LO it was unavoidable]. This weeks been a bit a disappointment with a few drawbacks but i hope that during this coming week everything is sorted out - especially once everyones back from leave, exams etc...

1. CA/VA Crusader and CA/VA Goatham are both currently on leave due to Real-Life reasons they should both be back from leave sometime this week.

2. LO/AD Ramos has had an unexpected hard drive crash today (saturday) and has lost practically everything hes been working on for hte past few months. I ask everyone to try to collect everything they have been working on so that they can submit it back to him in the near future. This means histories, newsletter submissions, web page details etc...

3. LOA Darksaber has redone the Wing XI history which should be uploaded in due course. Stay tuned for further details on this.

4. ISD Grey Wolf and Avenger Wing I histories are currently being compiled they should be done sometime in the near future also.

5. Shield and Psi squadrons have submitted their squadron histories, these also should be uploaded sometime in the near future.

6. We will soon be extending our history project from squadron commanders to Wing Commanders, Commodores, Battlegroup Commanders and Subgroup Commanders. If everything runs to schedule this will be done within 24hrs however will most of the staff having problems of being on leave this cannot be guarenteed but will hopefully be done sometime during the next couple of days.

7. We'd like to remind everyone that the new EH Pollmaster is hosting this years Mr/Miss EH Contest at http://lo.minos.net/polls/ehmrmiss2001.htm.

8. We are looking to better the functionality of the Imperial Historical Society, to do this the overall structure could be changing however ideas need to be finalised so look forward to news on this in the upcoming fortnight. It could involve a structural change or just a better recruitment campaign but this will be changing soon.

9. With things somewhat settling done (for myself at least) the Distant Talon manual, designed to help IHS members and the above mentioned members (news article #6) compile set histories, is now back into production and will be released soon. However since i've still got exams for half of this week it might be delayed a bit, it all really depends on how things fare this week.
