COMM Report #23 April 28, 2002

News: It's been awhile, I know, but I'm back with a new report, and I promise that things will get back to normal in the COMM office by week's end! Please bear with us, we are still tweaking the formula for this COMM report style, we'll have it figured out soon. AD Motti's schedule has considerably cleared up over the past 6 hours, so expect to see more of your faithful COMM in the coming weeks! With the NHL playoffs underway, the COMM Office officially throws its support behind the Maple Leafs in the east and the Red Wings in the west (Motti somewhat begrudgingly bows to Ziggy's dumb Detroit team out west. >:P) With the NBA playoffs underway, the COMM Office officially doesn't care. >:P Thanks to Ziggy for the product reviews! COMM Product Review: This Week's Product: AOL Instant Messenger With Real-Time messages, File sending capabilities, and Chat options, AIM is definitely a top pick. The ability to talk via microphone, setup a POP3 mailbox check, and do many other interesting things is also highly useful. Lows: Buddy list feature is stored online, thus, if the buddy list server goes down, don't expect to talk to anyone for a while. Also, pop-up ads are annoying. Rating 8 of 10 COMM Stars
