SO Report # 2 (2002-08-30)

This report was submitted by FA Brad

There was one warning issued this past week. The chance of just being given a warning is greater if the offense is minor or if you have never had a complaint issued before. Each complaint is treated separately since the circumstances and conditions of each are unique. "No two cases are alike." There were no complaints received this week, so everybody must be behaving (or nobody is reporting it.) This week I will talk about the Chain of Command. Each SubGroup (TIE Corps included) has their own chain of command. Each is slightly different but there are a number of superior officers who have jurisdiction over a group of other members. For an exact copy and explanation of your subgroup's chain of command, refer to the respective SubGroup manual. TIE Corps members should check out the Security Info Center (http://www.emperorshammer.net/security.asp). It is a helpful guide on what specifically to do about reporting problems and incidents. SubGroup members may refer to it as well, but of course position names and command structures would vary in your SubGroup. If you are having a problem with a peer (person in same group), consult your superior officer. If it is a problem with your superior officer, consult that person's superior officer. If the problem is with someone outside of your group but within that SubGroup, talk to the Superior officer who is in charge of both of you (in some cases this will be the SubGroup Commander/TIE Corps Commander). All complaints on Command Staff (excluding me), may go to the FC, XO, and me. If the problem is with me, contact the FC and XO. If the problem is with the XO, talk to the FC. If you have a problem with the FC, well then that is tough. :P This is to ensure that I do not receive complaints about trivial matters. Nobody wants to go to the HCI if they don't have to, and I'm sure that the FO and SGCOMs would like to regulate their own members. Of course if there are instances of serious violations you should issue a complaint for review by the Security Officer. Please consult the EH Bylaws (http://www.emperorshammer.org/bylaws.htm), Articles of War (http://www.emperorshammer.org/aow.htm), and IRC Codes of Conduct (http://www.emperorshammer.org/irc.htm). Respectfully Submitted, Fleet Admiral Brad SO-DIS/FA Brad/CS-9/SSSD Sovereign, MoH/HoI/IC/GOE/GMoF/FoEWx2/BS/PCx6/IMC/ISMx5/MoC-7BoC-5SoC/OV-6E [HUSS], {IWATS-AIM-ASP-CBX-IIC/1/2/3-M/1/2-RT-SM/2-TT-VBS}, SBL(Sith), (BN)
