- BATTLEGROUP NEWS -
Reinforcements I'm very happy to see that numbers are rising on all the ships of the Aggressor Strike Force and it is also very good to see that almost all the new pilots have been promoted to Lieutenant already and some of them have been awarded the Commendation of Bravery too. Way to go and if you have questions do not hesitate to contact your Squadron Commander or Wing Commander! ASF Trivia Results The winners for this month are: 1. LC Kodiak 2. CM S4patas 3. Create a new banner for the ASF roster and submit it to me within June 18. Allowed formats are .jpg and .gif, siez is free but it must fit with the roster page. the IS-GR, IS-SR and IS-BR will be awarded to the top 3 submissions. Imperial Storm News The battle of Korriban ended with a major victory of the Sovereign Task Force, however the ATF managed to save several craft thanks to their SP performance. Status for round #6 should be released soon. Freeworlds crisis It is a period of chaos in the Freeworld community. To sum things up: the old homepage and forum have been taken down due to problems with the host (Brinker), a new temporary forum has been setup at http://gs.kurbaga.com/ but from what I heard, even these forums will be closed in a matter of days and they will be replaced by new forums (...) located at http://fw.imperialpraxium.org/index.php. To complete the clownesque situation the USA 24/7 server itself is down at the moment and it seems like the community could be splitted over two servers (neither of those has been activated thou..) the first hosted by Gumba (NR leader) the second runned by Tessius. XvT Week of War Returning to the good old LEC flight sims, the June XvT Week of War will start Friday June 17. You get 1 LoC for each victory plus IS-GW, IS-SW and IS-BW to the top three ASFers. Be there and fly a lot.

AES Squadron CMDR Sought 06:49 - SA Cyric VA Gidda has decided to start accepting applications for the position of Avenger Squadron Commander from now in order to avoid a lack of leadership in the ASF Elite squadron when GN Nightmare will transfer to Reserves at the end of this month. Candidates must have passed the SM/3 course (preferred: MP and AMP). They must know very well the multiplayer aspects of XvT and/or XWA and of course they must be active multiplayer pilots themselves. Other than that it is required a fast email response time, the ability to work with other ASF Officers for the creation of multiplayer events and no HCI convictions whatsoever in your record. If you met those requirements and if you think to be the right person for the job send your application to BGCOM Gidda including a brief list of activities you would run as new AES CMDR. AES Squadron CMDR Sought
