	BG COMs Judgement and ATF Trivia - Please read the new "Mode of Operation" for those competitions in the special section below !!! Please also note that due to the crash of minos.net I moved the BG COMs Judgement website to my old account at http://home.arcor.de/web_admin/bj - sorry for having no nice redirect ready up to now - as this account has no PHP enabled you will have to submit your answers for Trivia manually for now :( With the SCO being down and some people having problems with patches on XvT I approved the request from a Wing Commander to change the assigned XvT Battle to XvT-TC Battle #95 - "The Supremacy Competition Problem" (no submissions for the old battle - so no problem here   Minos is down - All of you surely realized that minos.net is down and therefore a lot of TC Websites (Science Office, old MBs, BJ Website, etc.). If you need any information or files from those sites being down please email to your superiour or me so that you can move on with your duties.   Flayer and Storm Squadron closed due to lack of pilots - As most of you already read from ky Terrak, Flayer and Storm Squadrons have been closed due to a lack of pilots. The remaining pilos have been moved to newly re-openend Slayer Squadron. New CMDR of this Squadron is CM Archer - congrats and good luck on your CMDRship !   Wing Commander Promotion - I want to outline the promotion to LC of Andrijas, Wing Commander of Wing XVIII. he has done an incredible job the last months and I am happy that he is in our battlegroup - you really deserve it, Andrijas !   Wing XIX Wing Commander back for duty - COL Kane Reese is back from his LoA - welcome back and thanks for handling Wing business, Mouse Droid
	BG COMs Judgement and ATF Trivia
	As some of you already heard the whispers of rumours there have been changes to our traditional BG COMs Judgement competition. The changes of pilot’s interests and the addition of new platforms to TIECorps have made it necessary in my opinion. I will try to make it not too complicated but include all necessary information. So if any pilot has any question about this competition please adress them to this eGroup, directly to me or to your superiour Officer. Form a platform point of view we will now have the following parts of the competition with separate medals and credit for Wing activity to win the title of “BG COM’s Wing of the Month”: Pilot’s medals: - TIE SP: 1st IS-GW; 2nd IS-SW; 3rd IS-BW - XvT SP: 1st IS-GW; 2nd IS-SW; 3rd IS-BW - XWA SP: 1st IS-GW; 2nd IS-SW; 3rd IS-BW - XvT / XWA / FW MP: 1st IS-GW; 2nd IS-SW; 3rd IS-BW - JK, JO, JA MP: 1st Cr-D; 2nd Cr-R; 3rd Cr-A, CF for Match Win - Fiction: 1st IS-GR; 2nd IS-SR; 3rd IS-BR - Graphics: 1st IS-GR; 2nd IS-SR; 3rd IS-BR - Trivia: 1st IS-GR; 2nd IS-SR; 3rd IS-BR    - Single Player: Appointing the winners is done by top total scoring of the respective assigned SP battle    - Multi Player: Appointing the winners is done by total counting of:          Win [W] = 15 points (inner-Wing); 30 points (different Wings)          Loss [L] = 5 points (inner-Wing); 10 points (different Wings)          Tie [T] = 10 points (inner-Wing); 20 points (different Wings)    - Non-Flying: Fiction and Graphics is done by judgement of BG COM; Trivia is done by first submissions of all correct answers Count on Wing’s activity: - TIE SP: 1st 3 pts.; 2nd 2 pts; 3rd 1 pt. + 0.1 pts. / mission of assigned battle / pilot - XvT SP: 1st 3 pts.; 2nd 2 pts; 3rd 1 pt. + 0.1 pts. / mission of assigned battle / pilot - XWA SP: 1st 3 pts.; 2nd 2 pts; 3rd 1 pt. + 0.1 pts. / mission of assigned battle / pilot - XvT / XWA / FW MP: 1st 1st 3 pts.; 2nd 2 pts; 3rd 1 pt. + 0.1 pts. / flown match / pilot - JK, JO, JA MP: 1st 3 pts.; 2nd 2 pts; 3rd 1 pt. + 0.1 pts. / flown match / pilot - Fiction: 1st 3 pts.; 2nd 2 pts; 3rd 1 pt. + 0.5 pts. / pilot - Graphics: 1st 3 pts.; 2nd 2 pts; 3rd 1 pt. + 0.5 pts. / pilot - Trivia: 1st 3 pts.; 2nd 2 pts; 3rd 1 pt. + 0.5 pts. / pilot As you see the XvT and XWA parts have been merged together while adding the new platform Freeworlds [FW] (once Jump to Lightspeed [JTL] is an approved ‘official’ TC platform this will also be added here). Please use the following steps for playing a FW match:     1) you create new character named [Match]NAME     2) you enter the game with that character and buy T/F     3) you exit the starting station and fight     4) you finish, take screenshot     5) you delete the character Please note that JK, JO, JA have been reactivated as BG COMs Judgement platforms while you will be getting the respective DB medals (thanks to Chancelor Tirna Q'jira and Grand Master Nocturnus for their support !). For getting those medals awarded please also submit your DB PIN when sending the screenshot. Also the ATF Trivia has been added to the BG COMs Judgement so that participation here will also count towards the Wing’s activity (I will soon add the questions from atft.tiecorps.net to the BG COMs Judgement website). There is also a change in the awards of medals: I will only award medals to the top three pilots of at least a total of 4 pilots have participated in the respective part of the competition. So for instance if only two pilots participated in TIE SP (or XvT / XWA / FW MP) those will get no IS-GW and IS-SW but will have to motivate other pilots in the battlegroup to participate so that at least 4 pilots participated in TIE SP. I think this is only fair as we don’t want to throw out medals… I also want to use this chance to mention that the past rules will still be active meaning for instance that SP submissions should be send in the "PIN#_NAME_BATTLETYPE_BATTLE#" format (as a .zip), Graphics should be send as GIF, JPG, PNG, Fiction as .txt, .rtf or .doc as well as MP screenshots should be send in .gif or .jpg format (preferred .zip) while you CC your opponent and name his/her and your PIN (including DB PIN for JK, JO, JA) ! ALL THOSE CHANGES WILL BE EFFECTIVE FROM NOW ON ! I will update the BG COMs Judgement website on http://bj.tiecorps.net (www.minos.net/~avenger/bj) with those changes next week. As said before if there are any concerns or misunderstandings please come back to me.
