The battles situation

The download links to battles were disabled this week because one member of the defecting group of the Dark Brotherhood suggested downloading all our battles and using them for their own use. The links are now back online but you must login for them to appear. This is the protect the hard work of the TIE Corps' mission designers.

Flag Officer Appointments

~ Rear Admiral Ranthier Khaen - promoted to Vice Admiral and Battlegroup Commander of the ATF
~ Rear Admiral Charles "Demos" Spencer - appointed Commodore of the SSD Avenger
~ Colonel Mell Kerrigan - promoted to Rear Admiral and ISD Subjugator Commodore
~ Major TK-2107 - appointed to Wing Commander of Wing XX
~ Colonel Sephiroth - promoted to Rear Admiral and Commodore of the ISD Challenge.

Many of these Officers have a hard task in front on them, repairing damage to the ATF. Please show them your support and appreciation when you get a chance. Thank you.

BGCOM Promotions

The recommendation I sent to GA Ronin and SA Astatine:

Sirs,

I would like to recommend the promotion of two individuals to Admiral today, Vice Admiral Krax Tarnisar, BGCOM of the TC Battlegroups, and Vice Admiral Darksaber, Aggressor Strike Force BGCOM.

Both of these Flag Officers have held their positions for many months now, and during this time they have proven their competence and commitment to their position without fail. They are utterly reliable Officers, continually working to help their commands grow and improve, often with their due credit. Without them my job would be considerably more difficult, and I regard them as vital members of the EH.

These promotions have been approved, so many congratulations to Admiral Darksaber and Admiral Krax Tarnisar!

This statement from the Fleet Commander posted today on one of the forums should help clear up a lot of questions...

Until I receive at least acknowledgement of their acceptance of my 'terms" posted at: http://www.emperorshammer.org/news.htm (sent to Firefox & co. 3 times along with a demand for a response), EH members that join their group (that has unrightfully stolen EH property) will not be welcome in the EH. If you are unsure what to do, please sit tight and do nothing...Since you will have not JOINED their group, you have not left the EH...

TIE Corps Meeting

I thought it might interest our members to know that last week's TIE Corps meeting hit a record number of attendees, a high of 106 people...

My thanks to all those who attended. Congratulations to Captain Zexiphir Van Taelyan who receives an Iron Star - Bronze Ribbon for winning the trivia. A reminder that TIE Corps meetings are held every Sunday in #tiecorps at 9PM GMT / 4PM EST. For those of you unfamiliar with IRC, a good place to start is the IWATS mIRC Course.

Greetings TIE Corps.

As I'm sure most of you are aware by now, there have been some serious events with the Dark Brotherhood over the weekend, the details of which can be found on the main EH page. This is a significant turn of events that will have implications for many TIE Corps members who have friends in the DB, or are members themselves. I understand this will be the topic of conversation pretty much everywhere, so I ask people use common sense...please don't incite or flame the issue unnecessarily. I also request that everyone, whether you have a decision to make or not, carry on as normal. Those of you in command, continue to do your jobs...make sure those under you remain informed as always.

An EH Oath of Loyalty has been created in light of all this. Whilst I'm not keen on the "oath" part, I think it's an excellent way to show your support for your fellow pilots, superiors and the TIE Corps. Whilst signing it is certainly not mandatory, I encourage you to do so. EH Oath of Loyalty.

As always, I'll be happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have.

Biggest News this week was my promotion to Admiral :P Thx for all the Congratz.

Also Roster related, WC LC Tiss from Wing XIV resigned today. Applications are NOT Open.
Better news is COL Frodo from Wing V resigned and is coming back to ASF as FM in Krayt Squadron/Wing XIV

As you all know, the battlecenter was down this weekend due to security reasons but it´s already back online. We managed to keep flying through the help between our pilots. Well done everyone. ASF will always prevail with Teamwork.

Unfortunally our own LC Pellaeon had to resign from TCC:XvT due to RL, so that is open to applications if anyone wants it.

There is a new MP Comp Ran by LCM JoeyC, and is dedicated to ISD Grey Wolf: Grey Wolf Madness
I urge everyone to take part in it.
