-XVIII: Victorious Once More!-
April BGCOM's Judgment was a mighty clash between Wing XX and Wing XVIII,
the kind we've grown to expect from these two deadly rivals. In the end, Wing
XVIII came out on top for the 11th month running, good job! Hopefully we'll see
some more fierce competition in this month's round, and some increased activity
from Wing XIX (it appeared that the ever-silent XIXers were starting to stir
last month).
-April Foolery-
MAJ Thom Zack won this songwriting comp (started by VA Shadowhawk but
finished by me, for obvious reasons), with CPT TK-7764 coming in at second
place. Good stuff from both of them.
-Hunter CMDR-
A new CMDR for Hunter Squadron (Wing XVIII) has been picked, but not
appointed yet. This should be taken care of soon.
-BGCOM's Judgment-
The new site is up at http://bj.tiecorps.net.
It's fully updated with the SP battles and fiction/graphics topics for May.
There's also a sign-up sheet which, once submitted, will give me your details
and the events you wish to participate in. I won't necessarily delete
submissions that come in without the submitter being signed up for that event,
but it does help me in my record-keeping, so please take a few seconds to fill
it out.
-CJ/BJ Medals-
The outstanding medals from March were taken care of, and all the April ones
have been rewarded. We're back on track :)
-New Members-
Another spate of new members joined the ATF this week. Please welcome LCM
Tatsu, SL Edward, SL Kyle Darklighter, CM Grzmot, and CM D.T. Hammer to the
force!

The fiction/graphics themes are the same: detail an event (or the events) of the
recent DB separation, which involves the Avenger Task Force. Plenty of leeway
for creativity here.

-WCs vs (BG)COMs
This is basically a TC flag staff phallus-fest with enough boasting to fuel
the Imperial fleet for years to come (if boasts were stardrive fuel, that is).
Who are the better pilots, Wing Commanders or Commodores/Battlegroup Commanders?

-ATF Create-A-Cap'n-
This fiction comp is on hold for the time being, I'll run it at a later date.
-Squad Comps-
It's good to see some fun comps going on at the squadron level, the Wraith
Bounty Hunters comp and Raptor Squadron's 'The Worst Day' fiction comp, to name
a couple. Squadron comps build atmosphere and character, so you CMDR types
should be tripping over each other to reach the Competitions Center to get all
your comps approved :)
