Quite a bit of action has been stirring around the Battlegroups these days, and I was thinking to myself.. why not send out another report? :P I've generally been fairly inactive this past month TC-wise, due to my insane RL work schedule, but with the coming of the 'slow season' around here, I promise to devote a lot more time to the Battlegroups in the upcoming months. First on my list is to get the BG website up finally, with some assistance from MAJ Absolut Vodka, and FA Slade Holm. I've also got a big competition brewing, as you all know, to establish which ship will be the Flagship of the Battlegroups. I recently announced that this would be starting on Sept. 1, but certain events have forced me to postpone the start date to next Saturday, Sept. 8. I will be briefing the Flag staff shortly after this report goes out, so they can prepare their crews for what is to come. All ships are deserving of winning this comp, and it should prove to be an interesting battle!
Commodore of the ISD Relentless
COL Ricaud, as most of you already know, has recently resigned from his position as RelCOM. His time as the Commander of this fine ship will always be remembered as a great time in Relentless history. He has found a nice cozy spot as a FM in Sword Squadron , under the Command of LC Ted.
With this resignation comes a well-deserved promotion of LC Lohr Zadash to Rear Admiral and the new Commodore of the ISD Relentless. He has served as the ships WC for over 5 months, and has a strong understanding of the ship operations. I expect great things from the Relentless under Lohr's fine leadership. Congrats again Lohr and welcome to admiralty :) *cheers!*

Wing XI Commander promoted
Congratulations to General Badlands! Yes it's true! After over 9 months of serving the pilots of the Immortal as their Wing Commander, he has finally achieved his life long aspiration of being a General ;) I hear that there was a really big party on the ISD Immortal last night to celebrate.. and that there are a lot of hungover pilots today :P Must be a pretty big tab for you to pay off there BL ! Guess with your salary increase it shouldn't be a problem though ..

With the Flagship comp starting soon, and actually , little to no response from the pilots, I've decided to hold off on the Ace Pilot League until the Flagship competition is over. The only title being fought currently is the ISD Relentless, and the pilot files (FREE-TIE 117) are due on Sept. 7th. Once the Relentless title is established, all challenges will be closed until further notice. Current Ace Pilots will hold their titles until it's restarted, and in the case that any of them should transfer to another ship, or the reserves, the title will be reopened to the entire ship once it is restarted.

FA Kramer has been SovCOM.. for .. forever! :P (well, 4 years and 1 month) and has recently resigned from his post due RL time constraints. He served the ship well, and honorably and will be missed in our club. RA Proton has been promoted from Wing V Commander to replace him, so congrats to him
