IMPERIAL STORM II - DARK HORIZON

Well, we're 5 turns into ImpStorm II, and the battlegroups have yet to confront an opposing fleet! At the moment , Task Force Doom has control of 3 planets (think of all the partying we can do! I almost considered purchasing a casino for us to place on Firixon.. but after second thought realized its defensive potential was lacking :P ). Anyways.. never fear Battlegroups pilots, our moment of glory is coming soon! I want to see all my XWA MP pilots in top form for when we enter battle! I will keep you updated as to when and where, Let's kick some arse! Here's whats been going on, Flaming Arrow and Silver Saber have been fighting over Valkier a couple times now.. each with a victory, Silver Saber with the eventual capture.., here are the results of the most recent engagement : http://www.btinternet.com/~spellfire/valkier_battle2.html .

Instead of reciting the FSO's , I've decided to switch it up a bit in this report and remind all pilots of the following TAC policy :
Skipping Missions

If you encounter a battle that has a fatal bug in it that prevents you from playing the rest of the battle, you may edit your pilot file ONLY to skip the mission. However, if you edit a pilot file to skip a mission, you MUST notify your superior that you skipped a mission, you MUST fill out a Bug Report on the Battle Center to explain why you skipped a mission, and you cannot receive any high scores for your pilot file. It is advised that you save a backup of your original unedited pilot file so you can finish the battle after it has been repaired and go for high scores.

You may not skip more than one mission. You may NOT skip Free Missions. You may NOT skip a mission just because you do not want to fly it.

It seems a lot of BSF's have been denied lately due to this policy, so please think twice before submitting pilot files you have any doubts about.
If you have any questions, please refer to the following manual to answer your questions regarding flying and submitting bsfs http://www.tiecorps.org/tac/tac-man/ .

Congratulations to VA Mell on his most recent promotion! His outstanding work as Colossus Commodore has proven him worthy of holding the same rank as me ! (finally, eh Mell ;) Under his fine leadership, we have seen the Colossus go from nearly being decommisioned to having some of the highest numbers and acitivity its seen in awhile. Keep up the great work Mell :)

The Colossus has seen other changes with its Command Staff, namely the resignation of LC Drake, and the appointment of MAJ Absolut Vodka as its new Wing Commander. Congratulations to AV, and I'm sure we will only see more great things from the Colossus with him working by Mell's side. AV's old position as Mu Commander will be taken over by CM Kyle Katarn, a former Mu pilot whose transferred from Avenger for the job. Welcome back to the battlegroups KK.

The Challenge Coommodore, RA Manitsas, will be on leave for 2 weeks. GN Darklord is in charge of the ship until Aug. 1 when Mani's transport is due to return to the hangar of the ISD Challenge.

Battlegroups Of the Month Awards!

The moment you've all been waiting for! Who was the best of the best during the month of June? The nominees have been named, and after much review, the following pilots have been chosen by myself to be honored as the battlegroups bestest !!

Pilot of the Month : LT Steve Sunrider of Hammer Squadron/ ISD Relentless - Sunrider. The very name sparks fear in his enemies. In the time I have known LT Sunrider, he has been an incredible active pilot and friend. He works hard for his achievements and works hard to make the best career possible for him. I see nothing but good things in Sunrider's future. - CMDR/CM Tiger He has shown service above and beyond the call of duty. His activity remains active in BOTH online and offline piloting using cross-platforms. Submitting a column to his squadron's WSR as part of his XO duties. A real asset to Hammer Squadron and this Wing. - WC/MAJ Lohr Zadash I've also been noticing a lot of bsf's and multi-player matches being flown by Steve and he is to be commended for his dedication and ability to keep active despite his squadrons low activity. Keep up the great work Steve :)

Commander of the Month : CPT Werdna Elbee of Phantom Squadron/ISD Immortal has been setting an example for all other commanders this month. His amazing recruitment abilties has brought Phantom's numbers higher than they've ever been, with 11 pilots, all active and loyal to their squadron. Even with such an active bunch of pilots, Werdna has been flying a matched amount of missions, and his reports are always thourough and on time. He also finds the time to work on several extra-ciricular activities, such as assisting COL Mairin with the EH Vogue magazine and is always handy on irc and the egroups when any pilot from the Immortal has a question or problem. Werdna should definitely be commended for his outstanding work as Phantom CMDR and is most deserving of being honored as BG Commander of the Month! Congrats Wanda ;)

Squadron of the Month : Mu Squadron/ISD Colossus - All pilots are working together for the greater good. Not just Tie either, XvT and XWA are flown by members of this squadron. Led by Vodka, they are one lethal unit capable of taking on and beating the best. And how can we not select Mu? Great CMDR, new LT/LCM's all working together, Mu is an astonishing example of what Teamwork and Squadron strength. -WC/LC Drake & COM/RA Mell
