XWA Week of War The XWA Week of War for the month of May is currently running, matchmaking takes place in the #BSC_XWA IRC channel (on the Holonet servers) or using the XvT/XWA Client. Competition ends on Friday 3, 01:00 PM EST. XvT WoW medals The three best ASF pilots in the most recent Xwing Vs TIE Fighter Week of War were MAJ Tek Selkirk, GN Nightmare and LT Blackrage. They shall be rewarded with the IS-GW, IS-SW and IS-BW respectively, congratualtions! Gfx Contest I think it has come the time to replace the ASF Banner so I have created a graphics contest open to the entire Battelgroup. Submissions must be in .jpg or .gif format, size is free but remember that your banner must fit well in the ASF Roster page. Send your entries to me with the subject "ASF Banner". The three best banners will be awarded the IS-GR, IS-SR and IS-BR respectively. Imperial Storm News After the huge battles at the end of the first turn there have been no major events in Turn #2. Now let's wait to see what happens in Turn #3. Freeworld News The New Republic forces launched an attack on Sienar Shipyards and Bilbringi's Golan 2. The Empire managed to defend the Golan Station but Sienar has been captured. If you participated in the TE send your ID line to VA Solar MAcharius (aka Pri). HS Challenge results - XWA-Free #112 RA CrimsonFury 33,291 -> IS-GW CPT Frankie 26,477 -> IS-SW CPT Keiran Laserlight 13,303 -> IS-BW - XvT-Free #137 LT Blackrage 141,448 -> IS-GW RA CrimsonFury 121,802 -> IS-SW Congratulations everyone! I have received only 2 submissions for XvT so the IS-BW medal will remain in the OPS Office. I think this proves once again that a low score is still better than 0... Silver Star awarded The Silver Star of the Empire has been awarded to General Nightmare for his great work on the EH Radio. Congratulations! spare barrel of COMM cookies* That's all for now, unless I think of something else Imperial Storm - Battle Results 07:20 - HA Priyum Patel The results are finally in for the Battles that took place at the end of Turn 1 - The ASF was beaten by the Sith Fleet, who now claim the planet of Ryloth. The Sith SP scores were also higher than the ASF, so they get to save 600 points worth of ships lost in the XWA MP battle. The highest TIE scoring Sith pilot was Zethy and the highest XvT scoring Sith pilot was Gidda. On the ASF side, the highest TIE scorer was Blackrage, who also scored the highest for XvT. In the other battle, the Sovereign claimed victory over the TCBG, but only after suffering heavy losses themselves. For their pains, they have now captured the planet of Mon Calamari. The TCBG scored higher in the SP averages and so may now save 520 points from their otherwised destroyed Fleet. The highest TIE scoring Sov pilot was Tempest. For the TCBG, it was Landeux on both platforms. Turn 2 was relatively quiet with planets being captured and pacified, and Fleets tending to their wounds. The game continues... Freeworlds - Training Days 06:28 - HA Priyum Patel The Empire will be holding regular training sessions each week on Sundays at 10PM GMT / 5PM EST. The place will be Bastion Planet. Each week will have a different theme to it - capship killing, escort, transport docking etc. If you do attend, please email (spellfire@btinernet.com) me your name so I can put you up for Legions of Combat.
