Battlegroups Weekly Report #2

!!!REPUBLIC PEACE ENDED----WAR DECLARED!!!
The provisional peace in the Aurora Sector between the 1st Elite Strike Fleet of the Empire (Emperor's Hammer) and the 8th Republic Rim Fleet (Rebel Squadrons) ended yesterday after bitter insults and territorial claims. The Rebel Squadron's Fleet Commander laid claim to several of the Minos Cluster star systems claimed by the Emperor's Hammer. These systems, the claimed right of the EH, were protected by a battle fleet an contained thousands of loyal citizens.
Grand Admiral Ronin refused to release the planets in his claim, instructing the RS to find their own worlds. "The Minos Cluster is a wide field," he said, "and there are plenty more trees to call your own!" Despite long negotiations the talks ended in failure. The provisional peace was declared void and all EH/RS Relations were severed "We gave them every chance," Ronin said, "but they would not relinquish claim to what is rightfully ours."
The Aggressor Strike Force and the TIE CORPS Battlegroups have been placed on full alert and moved into border-side positions. Imperial forces in the cluster now are preparing for conflict with Republic forces. The chances for peace in this sector are officially over, the Emperor's Hammer has once again gone to war.

---FLEET UPDATE---

As indicated above relations are over with the RS. A full report of events is available at the Emperor's Hammer News Page-
(http://www.emperorshammer.org/news.htm) I advise EVERYONE read it, and read it thoroughly. The following is the summary statement issued by Grand Admiral Ronin-
Fellow Imperial Citizens:
Considering the events over the past few days, I have compiled all relevant documents/emails for Fleet Member review. I am sure that any rational person reading these will come to same conclusion as me...that the Rebel Squadrons have deteriorated to a club not worthy of our time or respect...A shame really; I used to speak with their past FCs over the phone and have always respected and worked with them. These recent events have made this impossible.
Consequently, considering the deteriorated RS command and their inability to control their staff and members and in fact encouraging them to be abusive in #EH, I hereby order the following:

1. The RS is now to be considered an EH "Enemy" and have been listed as such on: http://www.emperorshammer.org/alliance.htm
2. NO RS Members are allowed in ANY EH channel, they are to be permbanned IMMEDIATELY, NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
3. EHers with dual memberships shall renounce their RS membership or be ejected from the EH.
4. NO OR nights or ANY other cooperative EH/RS combats, plotlines or events are to be held. ANYONE violating this will answer to me personally.
5. EH Intel is herein authorized to initiate intel gathering within the RS.
6. ANY EH Command Staff or EHers found to be supplying the RS with info or private EH emails will be summarily terminated from the EH.

Anyone with questions, E-Mail ME, and you thought the war with the NR was a war, the RS picked the wrong hombres to mess with! Thank you
-Grand Admiral Ronin, Fleet Commander, Emperor's Hammer Strike Fleet

---------------------------

I, therefore, have issued the following statements-
1) All current or future competitions between any EH party in the Battlegroups and any RS Party are to be eradicated. If you are found to be participating in competitions that are now ILLEGAL there will be disciplinary actions.
2) All members that are duel-members... I very very highly suggest you terminate your Rebel Squadrons membership immediately or face termination from both clubs. If you think the RS was right in what it did then leave the EH but DON'T make a big deal about it or you may never be invited back and stand a chance to become "most wanted!"
3) As the Grand Admiral has stated don't get caught collaborating with the RS... trust me, you don't want it.
4) If you receive negative mail/spams, insults, threats, et. from RS members DO NOT retaliate! You will just cause more trouble and reduce yourselves to their level. Also don't do any of those things yourself. If you are caught then you will be expelled from the EH, that simple. Mail any incident reports to Grand Admiral Ronin (garonin@aol.com).

Please abide by these rules. You don't want to get in trouble. The main thing here is to have fun in a SW-Like environment. Lets not get involved in petty squabbles, they are our enemies and that is it... ignore them and let INTEL deal with the rest of the hup-la. Go to the bar, have a drink, and fly some free missions or something. Like I said if you have any questions then ask myself, your COM, or the Fleet Commander. Don't, however, insult him or you'll face some trouble yourself. I, and many others, hope to see this situation resolved so don't complicate it any!

Update from the Flight Office:
The Flight Office would like to re-iterate a bit of common sense and requirements for transfers within the EH. If a pilot is to make any move within the EH, they MUST communicate with their superiors in their old position and their new position. This assures there is no confusion as to what is happening. AFTER the communication is complete, the superior from the new position or the moving member must e-mail the Flight Office informing us of the change requested. The e-mail must include a summary of the required communications or affirmation that all parties have been informed of the discussions. This makes the transfer process proceed more smoothly AND will keep the Flight Office from having to do the leg-work and becoming angry when your requests change after everyone has been informed. Do your job and make it easy on the Flight Office, we'll make it easy on you.
-Admiral Sarriss, Flight Officer of the Emperor's Hammer

---BATTLEGROUPS NEWS---

The BGAPL is in the second roundabout. Challenges were solidified and the fight rages. Cheer for those you think should win, boo those you think should loose. Get drunk, curse at the jar of pickled eggs, secretly sabotage the heel's star...umm.. don't do that. In any case the pilot files for the flyers are due to be my Wednesday so take care of that. Don't forget that I am taking submissions for a new BG Title Belt. Best of luck!

Colonel Kessler was reported flying-while-intoxicated... or at least full on pretzels. Please don't starfight and drink at once, it can be quite lethal. I'm sure we remember that those marks on the bow of the Challenge were made by boozed-up flyers!

There is fighting afoot! The Challenge and the Colossus, two noble titans, are locked in mortal combat to determine who is the best of the BG Crop. They fight, they reel, they lick wounds, it truly is a spectacle! Lets see how this one turns out!

The issue of a Battlegroups Website is resolved. A big and to Commander Quake on the Relentless for so nobly offering to build us a nice TC-Domain like home. It should be through the design stages shortly. Expect results within a week. If you have any suggestions on site content please let me know and I'll be sure to take it under deep consideration *hehe*! No, seriously, I will... stop looking at me that way! :)

From VA Adrenaline: Well it's been a fairly slow month on the Immortal. This is mostly due to some RL issues and lots of our good pilots having transferred to the Reserves. After winning the ECR we hosted a Victory Celebration Bash, which involved MP and SP flying, which was fun, we partied, gave out some medals :) <---- Don't party too hearty!

A final note, if you have any submissions for the next Fleet Newsletter I suggest you get them off to SA Compton. It is a good idea, you get a nice LoA plus fleet-wide recognition! Plus you will be remembered forever in the Newsletter Archives of the EH... umm... YEAH!

---CURRENT ORDERS-----

Keep the activity and numbers up, Battlegroups! I do like to see competition, and I enjoy watching the one between the Colossus and the Challenge. I have a good in-flow of BSF forms from the Flag Officers, so keep 'em commin'! That reminds me I should fly more myself... Anyway... Don't forget the break-down of EH/RS relations, I will say again don't get yourself into trouble here. Just don't do anything bad and keep on enjoying the EH experience. Don't give your CMDRs or Flag Officers any rash either, especially if it is Colonel Kessler or Colonel Ricaud! Also look forward to a competition involving the Battlegroups in the future!
A notice to the Flag Officers- Good reports are coming in, you all have made it policy to get reports in on time and I like that. Squadron Commanders, don't forget to CC myself on all of your WSRs, I like to read up on Squad Events.

Such ends this weeks' report. Glory to the Empire!
