ISDII Intrepid Report # 1 (2005-05-19)

This report was submitted by AD Adren Silvori

Good Morning pilots of the ISD Intrepid, It was my honour to accept this post and a privilege to serve with all of you. I am new to most of you, So let me explain a few things about myself. My Record in the tie corps is an excellent one, I have had many active squadrons during my time here, most of which were dead when I arrived in them. This time however my task is a little easier, As the ship is not dead. However I have digressed. I am always approachable with problems and I will listen to any constructive idea's or criticism as long as they are served in a manner fitting an officer. I don't believe commanders or indeed Commodores always have the answers to every question or the best idea's for every competition. So I would like to see a fair old Brain exercise over the coming month.

I have read most of the reports from the ship over the last year, Seen the changes in personnel and have tremendous respect for the former commodore of this ship, Vice Admiral Gidda is a fine motivator and a good friend. Not a bad pilot too, but lets not feed his ego. I would like to continue his good work, but first I must get to know everyone and Find out as a ship were we are in terms of motivation, Activity and then build from there.

We are nearing the end of the month, Or at least we are closer to it than the start of the month. So I would like everyone to begin thinking about the MSE and its content. because I believe strongly that active, Hard working people should and will be rewarded, And that Dead wood should be rooted out and burned. I hope to have little of the latter however. I place a strong Emphasis on commanders to make sure people don't turn into dead wood. I am however aware some people just do and there is nothing you can do about it.

I hope from this week forward, That Commanders begin to send there reports in on time and on a weekly basis. I believe the commanders and the Wing Commander, Should agree on a day for squadron reports and then try the stick to it. A squadron report is the most important of reports and it keeps the squadron motivated. IRC of course can achieve the same thing, But assuming all pilots don't Sit on IRC day in and Day out. I think its best to ensure the reports are done. Even if you write a few lines per day. I would like a dedication from each commander, CCed to the Wing commander says. I will report on Thursdays or Wednesdays Ect Ect...

Real life can often prevent the best plans, But show some responsibly for the position you hold.

Ship Orders

Squadron Commanders

I have but one order this week. I would like every commander to send me a simple mail telling me abit about themselves, And say how his or her squadron is getting on. What she or he would like to see happen over the month of June. Please CC the Wing Commander as well, while he might know you all and your squadron. Its best to keep people in the loop.

Squadron Members.

Similar to the order above, I would like any squadron who wishes too, To send my abit about themselves and What they think of there squadron, There commander and what activities they like or would like to see.

Please CC your squadron commander and the Wing commander.

These Descriptions should of course be of a star wars content, And should reflect your character and his opinions
