Malidir's resignation Colonel Malidir stepped down as Wing XIV Commander and transfered to Reserves due to pressing real life duties. This is a great loss for our ship because Malidir did an excellent job since his very first day on the Intrepid, he was an active pilot and a good and friendly guy. I'm now accepting applications for the position of Wing Commander and full details have been posted on the TC news other than TC and ASF forums. Deadline for applying is Friday, midnight GMT. Multiplayer Ladders I've created three new mutliplayer ladders open to all pilots of the Intrepid, the supported platforms are Xwing Vs TIE Fighter, Xwing Alliance and Freeworlds. You will receive 5 points for each victory and 2 points for each loss, top two pilots in each category shall be rewarded with the IS-SW and IS-BW respectively. Usual EHCOC rules apply so you may report your matches for the 24/7 LoCs too. In order to report scores to the ladders you need a ELS handle and a screenshot of your scores (it's "alt+o" for XvT and XWA, "Print Screen" for FW, pics are saved in your documents/images directory). Thursday Training Other than the competition mentioned above, pilots may participate in the Thursday Night Training for XvT and XWA. This is a good chance for every pilot to learn from the veteran pilots and win some medals while doing it. The competition is held in the IRC channel #ehcoc, Undernet servers. Weekly Awards Before to leave for Reserves, Colonel Malidir won 5 XvT matches for the 24/7 MP and reached the 1,000 FCHG mark achieving the FCHG rank of Gladiator, congratulations! LT Gara Petothel received two more LoCs from 24/7 MP and Thursday Night Training. Last but not least, CPT Xander Drax received the IS-SR for winning the Wing XIV banner competition. COMmendations A special mention goes to two pilots of Krayt squadron. SL Bribon joined our ship only few days ago but he completed 28 missions already and he has been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. LT Top Ace 31 completed 30 combat missions during the past week. Congratulations both of you! Freeworlds Activity I know there's a number of members of the Intrepid who play Freeworlds regularly either with a clone on the ISD Predator or with a character in the [EH-F] or [EH-S] squadrons. I want to point out that FW activity IS counted toward medals and promotions but I need to know what you did and how long you played it, for this reason I want all FW pilots to regularly send in updates about FW activity to their direct superior. You can do that by going to the Server Rankings page and take a screenshot of your stats, then every week or two send in an update to your CMDR. Also, remember to check out the Freeworlds forum regularly as it contains many useful information and important news. |
