Intrepid Golf As promised there will be two new competitions open to the entire Wing and the first one is the Intrepid Golf. Pilots have to fly one or more free missions, however the goal of this competition is not to get a high score, on the contrary in every mission you must try to get as close as possible to a low score set by myself WITHOUT getting a lower score. The two pilots that will get closer to the set score will be awarded a IS-SW and IS-BW medal, for EVERY platform. For the first round (Hole? :p) missions and scores are: TIE Free #232 = 17,000 XvT-Free#168 = 11,000 XWA-Free #98 = 1,500 Remember, I will award a IS-SW and IS-BW for every mission. The Killage Ladders The second Wing wide competition is called Killage Ladders. This is a multiplayer ladder where scores aren't based on wins/loses but on the number of kills. Rules are very simple, challenge one or more pilots from Wing XIV, at the end of the match you will get one point for every kill and at the end of the month the pilot who gained most kills wins the ladder. There will be a XvT and XWA division and you can paticipate in both, also top two pilots in every division will be awarded a IS-SW and IS-BW. WoW NOT dead The Zone has closed the XvT and XWA rooms but Battlestats will continue to host the Week of War for these two games on IRC. Starting from this month WoW will run on the irc.netgamers.org server room #BSC-XWA, usual rules apply. Also, since the XWA/XvT won't stop I will continue to award for every round a IS-SW and IS-BW to the top two pilots from the ISD Intrepid. Good hunting! Roster changes First off, welcome aboard to LT Solaris Darthinian who joined Wing XIV and KRayt squadron coming from Reserves. Unfortunately CM Kakihara has been decalred AWOL after failing to report in for more than 30 days. Also, congratulations to SL Nutrientman on his promotion to the rank of Lieutenant. XvT WoW CM Fox Malloy has been the second best pilot of the ASF and the best pilot of the Intrepid so he wil lreceive two IS-SW medals (see the "Intrepid Goes to the WoW" link below). Congratulations Fox! MSEs CMDRs, this is the time to start work on October MSEs. Pilots, make sure your CMDR know of any extra-activity you did during the month of October :p |

| New SOV BGCOM Chosen 06:13 - FA Cyric With the retirement of AD Proton, I have chosen GN Stele Pallaeon as the new SOVBGCOM. GN Stele has been a long and active member with the SOVBG. I feel that he will be able to lead the Sov with the same intensity and resiliency as AD Proton had, and will continue to lead for some time. With that GN Stele is promoted to the rank of VA and given the duties if BGCOM. Congrats Stele! FW: EH-CG Hostilities 16:17 - HA Priyum Patel Freeworlders: Be advised that the Commerce Guild now lists us as Hostile, so I have returned the favour.
