Two new LCMs LT El Guapo of Viper and LT Fox Malloy of Asp have been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Commander. Congratulations on your well deserved promotions! Diamondback CMDR Major Exar Kit is the new Diamondback Squadron Commander. For those of you who still don't know him, he has served before aboard of the Intrepid in Cobra (he's been Cobra CMDR too) and his career includes positions like Wing Commander aboard of the ISD Challenge and Flight Member in the Praetorian Elite Squadron. Welcome back to the Intrepid and good luck. New pilot aboard SL Zantor has joined Copperhead Squadron after successfully completing his training on Platform Daedalus. Welcome aboard of the Intrepid, I'm sure you will have a great time here. Weekly Medals Colonel Frodo received three MoT-rh, yes this means there are three new Frothy Battles on the compendium now...beware! :p CPT Fallien Skull and MAJ Malidir received their IS-SR and IS-BR for the Trivia Run-On. Your Commodore got a IS-BR for winning the latest EH meeting, yay for SCO trivia :p Recruitment Even if our numbers are quite low almost every pilot of the Intrepid is active and reports in regularly, however a few more pilots on our roster would not hurt. I encourage all of you to try and recruit new pilots for the Intrepid. This can be done by helping Cadets, by telling your friends or posting on public Star Wars gaming forums (please don't post on other Club's forums thou :p). If you're successful you will be awarded a Medal of Instruction (which is one of the most rare medals in the TIE Corps) and even an Imperial Star thanks to Malidir's recruitment competition (see link below). WoW Incentive To improve our participation in the Weeks of War I've decided to award a IS-SW and IS-BW to the best two pilots from the ISD Intrepid in every WoW (XWA and XvT) from now until the end of the year. If you don't know how WoW or BAttlestats work follow the link to the Combat Operations Office at the bottom of this report, you will find detailed instructions there. |

XO competitions reminder 22:46 - SA Astatine [jpboyce@indigo.net.au] Just a reminder about the competitions I'm running. They all close at the end of August (just over a week away). Details for them are below:
Network maintenance 22:23 - SA Astatine [jpboyce@indigo.net.au] The hosting company will be performing maintenance works on Sunday August 22. The works will start at 11:59pm CDT and will take about 3 hours to complete. Some issues with accessing the TIE Corps site may be experienced during this period. COO LoA 08:03 - AD Khameir Sarin [khameir_sarin@yahoo.com] I am leaving for my honeymoon in 30 minutes and will return next saturday. All COO operations will continue as normal due to the outstanding COO staff. Admiral Khadgar has access to awarding LoCs and access to the COO 24/7 LoC website. He will be able to award and LoCs that you desperately need on your profile. See everyone in a week. |
