Rank Promotions There have been 4 rank promotions aboard of the Intrepid during the last week. Many congratulations to Lieutenant Jadesprite, Commander Big Boppa K, Captain Arid Foxtrot and Major SavageAz! Medals First off, LC CrimsonFury has received the Silver Star of the Empire for his excellent work in the ASF and as Krayt Squadron's Commander during the last year. Congratulations Crimmy! Then we have MSE medals, the Bronze Star of the Empire has been awarded to GN Dax Corrin, MAJ Malidir, CPT Spade and LCM S 4patas. The Palpatine Crescent has been awarded to MAJ SavageAz, CPT Arid Foxtrot, CM Cutter and LT Fox Malloy. The Imperial Security Medal has been awarded to MAJ Apophis Kuma. Congratulations and continue to be an example for other pilots of the Intrepid. Diamondback CMDR CM Predator stepped down from the position of Diamondback Squadron Commander and transfered to FM in the same squadron. A new CMDR has been chosen already, pending Flight Officer's approval. BGCOM's Legate I'm very happy to see that 4 of the 7 recognized pilots are from the Intrepid. Legates: GN Dax Corrin and LCM S 4patas (a IS-GW is on your way). Tribune: CPT Spade. Centurion: MAJ Apophis Kuma. Well done and special thanks to the CMDRs and WC for submitting their MSEs in time. MP Incentive Starting from this month for every XvT or XWA Week of War the top 2 pilots from the ISD Intrepid will be awarded a IS-SW and a IS-BW respectively. Also, there will be a new Intrepid Ladder. This one won't be based on number of matches won/lost but on the total number of kills. By the way, congratulations to LT Malloy and MAJ SavageAz on their LoCs. Trivia Run-On The winners are CPT Fallien Skull and MAJ Malidir, congratulations and thanks to everyone who participated. Expect a new trivia to start soon. |

| The Rank of General 12:10 - FA Cyric [jroscoe@comcast.net] Recently I've had a few requests for some members to be promoted to the rank of General while they are in FM or FL spots in squadrons. This is not allowed, nor will I ever allow this. However... The rank of General is probably the most prestigious of all the ranks in the TieCorps. Very difficult to earn and highly respected, it is often reserved for Elite members who exhibit activity and loyalty above and beyond as well as Wing Commanders. My exception to the "normal" squadron rule is that if a pilot comes from the reserves or transfers into a squadron and they held the General rank, they shall be allowed to retain it. These pilots have earned it, thus earning the right to keep the rank. If a high ranking member RA and greater retires and comes back to the TC in a squadron FM position they sall revert to the traditional COL rank if they've never held the General rank before gaining their Admiral bars.
