Territory Enagements

Wednesday 8^th – Battle for the Invincible

The EH’s goal for this engagement was to recapture the ISD Invincible, lost to us on Sunday, and as a secondary target, to take the Sunspot Base. Once the fight started, plans changed – Emperor Zaccarascrow ordered the EH to assist in the capture of Coruscant, Golan II, Coruscant Shipyards & Golan Arms Station.

Result – Imperial Victory (Primary Goal not achieved)

Friday 10^th – New Republic Retaliation

Of course the NR couldn’t sit idle with the loss of their major bases in the Coruscant System, so launched a full-scale attack on all hostiles. The EH received orders to defend the Coruscant Triangle (Planet, Golan & Shipyards) while the remaining Imperial forces protected our assets in Bilbringi.

The fight started with a surprise attack from members of Spectre Squadron, who managed to rip into our forces, knocking out about half before retreating. A New Republic fighter group then arrived at the Triangle. The ensuing furball saw most of the EH fighters destroyed, with only a few of us left. However, the NR did not have many transports on that day, and so only managed to capture the Shipyards and Golan Arms Station. They could have taken considerably more, but failed to capitalise on their advantage. The Empire retaining control of the all-important planet, Coruscant, and it’s orbiting Golan Station.

Result – Imperial Victory (Defensive)

Saturday 11^th – The Emperor’s Retribution

The Empire decided to flex it’s military muscles and launch punitive assaults against all Hostiles. This was the EH’s second chance to recapture her base of operations, the ISD Invincible, while other Imperials would strike elsewhere.

A fighter group led by Commander Bubba entered Bespin and struck at the hostiles protecting the ISD. They gallantly fought off the scum and took up station athe ISD. However, there were reported sightings of two Spectre fighters in the area, which meant the area was not yet secure. A Flight of three EH Fighters then arrived as reinforcements (led by yours truly) and linked up with the remnants of Bubba’s flight. Together the two Spectres were ripped apart blaze of GAMs and 9.3’s. With the area now secure, the order was sent out to the transports, led by Command Keller. Keller had placed his group of YTs and one CRV safely docked in Freedom One. When the order came, the transports were sent out one by one to dock with the ISD.

The EH then turned it’s attentions to the hostile Black Sun’s base – Sunspot. No opposition here meant the base was taking quickly. The next target was the Golan Arms Station in Coruscant, which was also taking after a fierce battle. By the end of the engagement, the Imperials had captured the ISD Invincible, Sunspot Base, Golan Arms Station, Coruscant Shipyards & Jedi Academy.

Result – Imperials wtfpwnd!

TE Aftermath

- Those of you who took part, I hope you realise now that TEs are one of the highlights of FW and can be exciting affairs. Try to attend as many as you can, and practice PvP with others when possible.

- I’ve sent the COO a list of names of people who took part in Sunday’s and Wednesday’s TEs. If you participated in the last two TEs, please send me your ID Line and PIN# ASAP (spellfire@btinternet.com). If you were banned on Saturday prior to the TE for docking at a Hostile base, please also send me your information.

- The Black Suns have announced a TE this coming Saturday, vs Hostiles. I’ll send out more information on this later in the week.

- Orders – In the EH we operate under a chain of command and the same is true for Freeworlds. To avoid confusion during TE’s, you should only heed the orders of either your group leader, or me (or another EHC member). The only exception is if Zacc directly tells you to do something, which will be rare. If anyone else tells you to do something, just carry on with your standing orders. If you’re not sure, ask your group leader, or me.

Old EH Tag

Anyone using the old [EH] tag should’ve had them deleted by now. If you lost money/equipment, then tough – you were given plenty of warnings.

If you’ve been banned and haven’t yet been put up for a Senate Vote, please PM Burnout – explain what happened and apologise. Some points to remember:

• Delete any non-member tag characters you may have like [IMP], if you’re using one of the EH tags
• Do not create a character until you’re on the appropriate list
• If you die in a TE, leave the server immediately
• Behave!
