- It’s been a pretty quiet week, both within the EH faction and I think, on the server as a whole. There haven’t been any TEs recently – a by-product of the recent changes in the Rules of Engagement (http://usa.assassinsden.com/Default.aspx?tabid=38) I think.

Allies & Hostiles

I’m still trying to sort this out. For some unfathomable reason, I can’t get either Wasabe (NR) or Storm (BS) to reply to my messages. I’ve sent another message to Wasabe. In the most inconvenient turn of events, Storm is a “Guest for a Week”, so I can’t send him any PMs until this up. Go figure. If by the end of the week this isn’t resolved, I’ll declare them hostile and fair game to EH guns.

I’ve also started discussions with the Corellians about a possible alliance with them.

The Emperor, Zaccarascrow, has signed the Alliance with the EH:

We do submit that under such an alliance, EH and Imperial pilots will provide the following:

• Mutual aid and support in any possible way as long as they do not violate standing orders or treaties existing with either party.
• Permission to dock, barter and trade at any Station, Planet or other such Territory held by either side.
• The right to request aid in a Territory Engagement as long as providing said aid does not violate standing orders or treaties with either party.

Hopefully this should be straightforward. For as long as this alliance is in effect, I expect all pilots flying under the EH tag to abide by the conditions. Any problems, let me know ASAP.

Wing Commander

Due to RL time constraints, Marcus Caine has decided to resign as Wing Commander of the Pred and move to the RSV. I’d like to thank him again for his enormous contribution towards getting FW off the ground and running.

This of course means that I need a new WC, and I’d like to get him or her in place ASAP.

Requirements

• Command experience, preferably at CMDR level or above, for no less than 4 consecutive months
• An active EH character on the Burnout Server
• Familiarity with all of the EH/TC rules & policies, and the Server rules
• Quick email turn-around and high online presence (in-game, message boards, IRC etc)
• The ability to run and moderate innovative and interesting competitions on a regular basis
• All the usual Wing Commander stuff as described in the Training Manual
• Help develop the FW platform and carry out regular admin type stuff (updating the EH list, performing AWOL checks, etc).

Applications should be sent to spellfire@btinternet.com with the subject “PredWC”. Up to 2 references may be provided (make sure you have their permission first). I’ll be making a decision on Thursday 14th October.

As soon as the WC is in place, an AWOL check will be done on all members of the EH list.
