COM Chatter
Hooray for me, I got my report our on time this week. That in itself is an amazing accomplishment considering the RL tornados ive been dodging with work and the other crap that goes with it. Even so our beloved ship is doing well and continues to get stronger every week. For those of you keeping score, we are now exactly tied with the Wolf for top ASF overall membership. I want to thank everyone who has help us get back to where we need to be as we are on the verge of reopenning the mighty Python Squadron once again. Everyone should be proud of the things we have accomplished over the past months. In less than 3 months time we have went from 28 members to 45!! Now thats amazing. I thank all of you for the work you have put into the ship and your continued efforts to make and keep this ship strong. We are the Vanguard, the Tiger of the Fleet!!

Ship News
We are hanging at the threshold of the goal of our coninued reign and magical member number of 45. Lets surge ahead and keep bringing the pilots in so we will once again be recognized as the strongest ship in the fleet.

TopDog is going well as far as activity goes. We still dont have the participation level we are hoping for but there is still plenty of time for everyone to atleast do one thing. Its not that hard to answer a trivia question folks so lets get in there and do it for the team.

It seems noone wants cmdr jobs anymore. Mantis has been open for a week or two now with no prosects whatsoever. I encourage anyone even LT's who think they can get the job done to apply asap before we lose another squadron to the gutter of dissertion.



ASF News
Everyone should attempt to send AD Khadgar and graphics and fiction they can put their hands on for our paper the Aggressor.  Im sure awards will fall from above for all that do.  I know if you dont those photos I tend to snap of our crew in their most compromising postions may find their way into his hands as replacements.

The Khadgar is back we think. It cant be confirmed but he staggered aboard with the smell of alcohol and smelly cheese so there is no telling what our great BGCOM has been up to in his days off.

I think there are a couple of ASF commander seats open for apps. Lets get those filled up so the ASF can remain the strongest fleet in the corps.



Tie Corps
The Rank of General

Recently I've had a few requests for some members to be promoted to the rank of General while they are in FM or FL spots in squadrons. This is not allowed, nor will I ever allow this. However...

The rank of General is probably the most prestigious of all the ranks in the TieCorps. Very difficult to earn and highly respected, it is often reserved for Elite members who exhibit activity and loyalty above and beyond as well as Wing Commanders.

My exception to the "normal" squadron rule is that if a pilot comes from the reserves or transfers into a squadron and they held the General rank, they shall be allowed to retain it. These pilots have earned it, thus earning the right to keep the rank.

If a high ranking member RA and greater retires and comes back to the TC in a squadron FM position they sall revert to the traditional COL rank if they've never held the General rank before gaining their Admiral bars.

All members should make note of this and please don't bug me any more :)
