Commodore’s Opening Words
 
Hurray! Its time for yet another colourful edition of the Intrepid weekly ship report, Number 46. Anywho, down to the most wonderful business we brought on this week.
 
First of all, MAJ Zhaim Jiffar stepped down, do not apply for it unless the WC or I ask you to.  MAJ Zhaim was a good CMDR but sadly his PC was against him and he has decided to step down as flight member in Diamondback for the time being.
 
Next, everybody's absolute favorite part of the report, where I talk about who beat me at the "Beat the COM Comp" Thats right, round #2 ended today and the following pilots defeated me:

LC Justin (...not by much! :P)
 
Congradulations, IS-BWs for all!! And for the final (Round #3) I did more then a half assed effort! :P The file to fly is XvT Free 93 and the Score to beat is 61,700 and you must have them to me by May 16th which is next sunday, in 7 dayz...Its a day after the deadline but thats because I won't be there for the week end.
 
I will be on leave from Friday the 14th to Sunday the 16th of the month of may...The report will be out on the 16th...You guys won't miss me :P
 
The other comps all end on the 15th, I have 4 total submittions for the GFX comp, and the CR/FCHG Race is still going strong...I'm quite sure Pred is leading hte CR race...FCHG I havn't really checked, you'll all see the results on the 16th.
 
On another note welcome aboard LT Hakavay! That makes the Intrepid up to 40 pilots! Huzzah!

Awards...

The following Command Officers have been rewarded for their hard work:
Promotion to full Admiral for Operations Officer Foley. Foley has been fairly consistant in his position so far and has been a bit forgotten when it comes to appropriate rank for his position. Given the consistant service so far and the fact he's held Vice Admiral for 6 months, I believe he deserves this promotion.
Promotion to full Admiral for Security Officer Sithspawn. While SO, we've seen him deal with a number of security and behaviour issues from members with a very fine touch. SO itself has historically been a dirty job with little reward, however I believe that after 5 months as VA, Sithspawn deserves a promotion to full Admiral.
Grand Order of the Emperor (GOE) for Supreme Director Mordann. Mordann has continued to provide a consistant intelligence service for the EH, as well as deal with the additional roster work from being DB MAA. Considering the 6 month gap since his last award/promotion and his standard of work, this award is more than deserved.
Congratulations to these three persons.

 
Omega Commander Promoted to General

From AD Proton: I recommend that Omega Squadron CMDR/COL Brian be promoted to the rank of General.
Colonel Brian has been a consistently active force driving Omega forward since he became CMDR of the elite squadron more than five months ago. Omega once again is tearing up the Sovereign Squadron League, and Brian himself is flying as hard or harder than ever, leading by example. Brian also is a valuable contributor to Sovereign flag officers' discussions on important issues.
GN Brians contributions to Omega and the fleet have been an example to all pilots and I concur with AD Proton that the promotion is warranted. Congrats GN Brian!
   
Multiplayer Competitions

As you may have noticed from the Combat Calendar, there are some new weekly competition times for this week. Night of the Monks will take place Fridays from 3 AM - 6 AM EST, hosted by LC Pickled Yoda. The Wolf's Howl will be on Saturdays and Aggressor Night on Sundays. Both will be at 8 PM - 11 PM EST, and will normally be hosted by VA Khadgar. You're welcome to use any COO authorized platforms at each of these competitions (XvT, XWA, etc.). They will all be held in #EHCOC on IRC. Khadgar will be unable to host the Saturday and Sunday competitions this week, so if you’re able to host, please contact the Combat Operations Office.

Full Squadrons: 0

HOW TO GET PROMOTED TO LT:
1. Fly any official EH missions or battles at the EH mission compendium
2. Participate at any TO approved Squad/Wing/Ship/BG/Fleet comp!
3. Create an Imperial Navy Personal record (INPR) in your admin menu!
4. Create an official EH mission or battle (Can take a loooong time)
5. Helping your CMDR with the Squadron webpage, or creating one.
Those are the five main ways to get promoted to LT! You guys should be aiming for at LEAST reaching LT :P
