I have made a selection for the next TIE BGCOM. I have received four outstanding applications for this position:
AD Mell Kerrigan
VA Frodo (Later recused himself from the race)
RA BubbaX
COL RougeWing

All applicants would have brought something unique and exciting to the TIE BG's. However, only one could've been chosen. This was perhaps the toughest decision I've had to make as FO-TCCOM in the 6 or 7 months I've been doing this job. So without Further Ado, the new TIE BGCOM is none other than....AD MELL KERRIGAN. I ask that everyone afford him the respect that the position deserves, and gives him a chance to lead.

Orders

Recruit! Recruit, recruit, recruit, recruit! :P

Now to help you, I've put together a few tips on how to get recruits:

* Look for Cadets with AIM because they are easier to contact
* Don't bother contacting Cadets who have been in training for more than three weeks
* Don't bother emailing SLs, LTs, or anyone over the rank of VA in the reserves
* Look for reservists who have been on the Relentless in the past
* Post recruiting messages on any SW forums you come across

These are just a few tips...use them wisely :P


Closing Thoughts

I've decided to abandon the SoTM and COM's Protector comps, at least in their current forms, for now. I'll be getting a comp set up to feed off of our ECR victory later this week, and it will probably run until early March. This comp is just for fun...it's like a cool down after ECR V. There won't be any hard deadlines, and no pressure to participate...enjoy yourselves! You've earned a break! 

Finally, I'd like to say thank you. You're the ones who are responsible for our victory, not me, and not Ky. We're both very proud of you guys, and I know I can speak for Ky, too,  when I say it's an honor to lead you :)
