Fleet News
-The position of WC of Wing XIII (XvT MP) is open for applications. Apps go to RA Khadgar and VA Darksaber.
-The COM of the ISD Grey Wolf resigned due to RL military obligations. RA Khadgar is the new COM. Congratulations!
-RA Sickman, the COM of the ISD Vanguard was promoted to the rank of VA. Congratulations to him as well.


COM's Rant
This week's Rant is brought to you by the Letter K. For all the kittens, knives, and klangers in the world, this is dedicated to you.
Missions!! Yes, we have nearly 3,000 missions in our Mission Compedium. We need to fly more of them. We have nearly 100 XWA Free Missions, but the last couple ones have only been flown a few times. So, let's make it our goals to fly at least 2 missions a week. Even if you have to fly them on easy and with Invulnerable on (like me), it's still worth it. So, let's get those BSF's rolling in!

Ship News
-Due to new security regulations, all pilots that are on duty, are NOT allowed to be in the cantina. This is due to the rather poor "navigation" of one of the Ghost pilot's last week.
-The mechanics of the ground crew for Ghost Squadron has demanded a raise. Apparently, they are tired of fixing Tie Advances after their drunk pilots hit the Immortal.
-After speaking with the ships psychiatrist, LC Boliv is cleared for duty. The shrink said, "Nothing I can do for him, he' just crazy." Welcome back Boliv! :p
-Our monkeys are running amok. Apparently one of them was seen holding a technicial hostage with a banana, and the other two were trying to break into the alcohol storage area. If you see them, be careful when approaching.

Project Legacy

Already this is showing results. We've got several pilots who are awaiting assignment and should be reporting for duty soon. If you would like to be a Roughneck and help recruit, contact me for your Tour of Duty.

Competition Corner
-This week's round for the XWA Ladder will be over Wednesday night. So for those of you still in it, be sure to have your .plt files in before then.
-NEW COMP!!! This is the last week the Immortal will be taking on the ISD Intrepid in a Multi-Player Comp. That's right, multiplayer. I know that we are a single player ship, but we have a lot of good multiplayer pilots, and a lot more that think that they aren't so good. Well, now's the time to prove that we can stand up to those Intrepids and dish it out! You can challenge any of their pilots to a match (standard MP rules apply). After the match is over, report the scores to me so that I can keep track of them. The ship with the most wins will win the comp. However, their COM and myself are working on a huge skirmish battle in which I will pilot the Immotal while he pilots the Intrepid. The winner of that match will get some extra points added to their ships score. So, you can find the Intrepid's pilots on their IRC channel which is #Wing XIV and set up your matches today!! This can be XWA or XvT, whatever the pilots decide on.
-Also, XWA WoW is running this week. I urge everyone to make sure you have an account set up with battlestats.com and go to the Zone and help us win!
-Name the Mascots comp is running. Now that I've imported 3 space monkeys to be our mascots, they need names. Send suggestions to myself and BL for judging or post on our MB.
-New graphic comp. Each pilot may submit up to 5 different graphics. They must be around the size of 400 x 200 and feature the ISD Immortal and a recruiting slogan. This will be used by our Roughnecks as they prowl other Message Boards on the lookout for recruits. Due by Thursday!
